Gee, that's comforting and reassuring. Living in a city, I do not worry too much on the day to day about ticks but I do take precautions when I go upstate. This is just another bad result of irresponsible and greedy stewardship of the environment. Many more to come.

Poor dogs (and cats) in Canada.

Down here (in the USA) you have always had to regularly check your dogs and cats for fleas and ticks, pull the buggars out, and give the pet an anti-tick/flea treatment.

And when hiking in the woodlands you need to wear long pants, light colored, with your cuffs tucked into your boots and sox.

Then when you get home undress at the front door and put your clothes into the wash and take an immediate shower to get any ticks or fleas off you, especially your hair.

Jeez, are we to think it never gets above 60 degrees in New York State or Canada - ever? And how much has the temperature risen since before this was a problem?

Wow! Ticks, soon zombies, vampires, the heartbreak of psoriasis, dogs and cats living together. All because Trump defied climate sharia practitioners.

EVERYTHING is due to one of two causes, according to leftists: white male racism or "climate change". It's getting so boring. They need new villains.

    Whatever it is -

    It is in Fahrenheit
    , not metric
    Just as the Lord intended!

Had the Lord intended metric, he would not have given us feet.

Ticks of the gov-edu-union-contractor-grantee-trial lawyer-MSM Complex have been spreading rapidly throughout the U.S. (and the world) for decades. These ticks can suck an entire rich country dry in just 80 years. Insect ticks are small fry in comparison.

Is this a slow news day or something? This is the second environmental news story that is over a year old. I would hardly call this current events peppermint. Your story is from 2015. One more pathetic attempt at a post.

Isn't it amazing how everything bad is caused by climate change? When you have a propaganda vehicle you can never prove wrong because there is no proof that it exists, you can blame anything on it like terrorism.

It doesn't take much to scare the simple minded.

I live in the Ozarks, literally within the bounds of the forest and I use this around my house. Works great! I use the Sawyer permethrin spray for clothes too and it works just as well.

The northwest US states had a record cold winter for temps and snowfall. Yet, they have ticks also.
