They're all readily available in a solid and stable marriage between two people who are committed to making it work.

 

Only if you make a hash of it. Which is a choice (either in 'bad' partner, or lack of commitment).

 

It would also help the single 80%ers to walk away from the fantasy that ordinary guys can land extraordinary women. They can't.

I've been married three times, believe me,, casual sex is better than anxiety and heartbreak.

 

Do you go to the shooting range? Do you engage in hobbies with like-minded folk? Do you do and be all the things you look for in a mate?

Have you checked yourself out for character defects? Personality flaws? Bad breath? Overweight? Smoking? Drinking too much? Etc etc?

 

I have some of those. But mostly I just have no interest in being where women seem to want to be or doing what women seem to want to do. Not single women anyway.

Which is fine. Every time I find one that presents herself as emotionally independent, it turns out to be precisely the opposite. Im content enough on my own.

 

Well if you're content to be on your own, your 'flaws' don't matter. Unless they're killing you, of course.

 

Having a couple boys that are now grown, I have to applaud one of my sons.

He and his girlfriend do internet dating, he freely admits to sex talks, pics, and masturbation. His girlfriend lives overseas. When I asked him about this, he simply said it's cheaper, safer (no VD), and no possibility of pregnancy. The internet has allowed people to connect without being physical. I'm old fashioned and cannot conceive of this type of relationship being fulfilling...but times do change.

 

Such relationship is only selfish because there is no real commitment, sacrifice or bounding going on and thus the possibility that it ends min happiness is zero. All that it serves to is instant gratification and comfort zone-imprisonment.

 

Not in my observation. My wife and I have had all of those since we married almost 22 years ago. They are fantasy if you think that they just happen. They don't. You have to work at it, each and every day if possible.

 

So women are nothing more then means of sex for you?

You should try and see them as others persons not a collection of holes to use whenever you feel like.

 

I am sorry that genetics and lifestyle have driven you to this point....I recommend you avoid women as much as they avoid you.

Yeah, the sexual market and women are both in pretty dire straights right now but men in the past have dealt with much greater hardship than simply not being beta. Go to the gym, educate yourself and be confident. If anything, there is an over abundance of available women these days and that, depending on how you look at it, is probably unfortunate.

The REAL issue is finding a woman who's views and lifestyle will contribute to raising healthy children. That is a real problem which needs talking about.
