Which law do you suggest Obama should have used to accomplish banning Russia from facebook and the internet?

I'm unable to read behind the paywall that is the Washington Post(irony, calling the Trump presidency the death of democracy while commercializing online news reports, which is no different from TV broadcasting IMO.) But just from the title, what I infer is that the Russians wanted to BUY Clinton Dirt from Roger Stone.

That's an ENTIRELY different message, than the one we've been investigating this whole time. We've been told that the Russians colluded with the Trump Campaign to influence the election, hypothetically through hacking the DNC server and using Wikileaks to spread anti-Clinton propaganda.

If we presumed this was true, ask yourself: Why would the Russians BUY information, that they already have? Why would they have the need to enter a transaction with a cooperating partner in the Trump Campaign?

This report put more waters on Trump-Russian collusion theory, and raised more questions about what, if anything actually happened. We need a 9/11 style commission, not Robert Mueller. He's proven uninterested, let alone capable of finding these things out.

None but you seem to think there eas someway Obama should have stopped them from trying to influence the election. Since you seem to think Obama should have stopped the Rusdians I was just asking you what you think he should have done. Guess you don't actually have any ideas.

Well, now that you Trumpters have switched to the he-made-me-do-it argument, it's nice to finally be able to dispense with pretending that none of this actually happened. Now, you all seem to be burnishing the theme of the noise campaign from the very beginning, that anyone and everyone was to blame except the people who committed the actual crimes.

    This is awesome

You believe Hillary lost because of a handful of Facebook ads nobody saw or remembers

Either Obama is to blame or you just have a fantasy conspiracy theory.

    .
    I didn't say that.

I made the case that the Russian trolling campaign was a multi year effort, run from the very top of the Russian power heirchy, and that it had been going on for two years on election day.

You falsely portray my comments as "a few Facebook ads that nobody remembers".

First of all, it doesn't matter whether anyone remembers them or not. They only had to remember them on one very specific day.

Second, the fact that these relatively cheap ads were megaphoned all through the social media (and right wing blog world by people like you is not in doubt.

Third, I documented the size of the audience these ads reached versus the tiny number of actual votes taht decided the election.

You could not refute a single word of it. Nor could you offer any evidence to support your claim that this was a conspiracy theory.

Yet, evidence that the Russians did mount this campaign is not only not a conspiracy theory, but it is well documented fact.

And, the long list of contacts between Trump campaign officials and the people behind a campaign to undermine the US is NOT in doubt either (although every single one of them tried to lie their way out of it).

Nor is that fact that the Trump campaign jumped at the chance to collude with the Russian effort. That is documented fact too!

There's no law against digging up dirt on your opponent in an election. Hillary was an expert and when she didn't find any she paid for a phony dossier. Plus she had a billion $s, the MSM, rigged by the DNC, fed debate questions and still couldn't win. But you right - it was the Russians - it was their Vodka that caused Hillary to fall down drunk. You're so easily triggered I wonder if you have any hair left.

I really don't understand why you Trumpsters keep trying to litigate the last election over again, and make everything about Obama and Clinton (neither of whom is in power).

But it is clear that the last thing any of you want to talk about is the probability of collusion between the Russians and the Trump campaign, even though most of you have largely dropped any pretense that it didn't happen.

The issue is not the outcome of the election, as you keep falsely trying to define the debate.

The issue is wheter or not the Presidential campaign of a major US political party colluted (or even attempted to collude) with the intelligence agencies of a rival power to undermine the US poltical system.

There is no doubt that this is what the Russians were up to. There is also no doubt that many people in the Trump campaign were eager and enthusiastic about the opportunity.

Dance past those realities all you want to, but that won't change the facts.
