    Some horrible vile ******** shot up a religious building and killed a load of people, his excuse ..... His manifesto has a bunch of **** about avenging all the European slaves taken by Muslims among other disgusting reasons, a lot of it being what he considers to be wrongs commited in the past.

    Pathetic excuse from this truly evil person. I don't know how these people can be so brainwashed and use things from a long time ago in the past to fuel their hate and protect that hate to innocent people in present day.


    Truly horrible... my heart goes out to the victims.

    Erm...no. Ancient Romans and Greeks didn't "start slavery", it existed millenia before them; e.g ancient Egypt or Babylonians.

    i didnt say greeks and romans started slavery. i said that romans and greeks started the whole africa v europe slave raiding.

    That is incorrect. The past is not the problem here, sort of like here in the USA. Where it is actually how humans still suffer from slavery's, legacy, which causes so much earthly heartache today.

    I've never once seen you, or any black, thank the families of the northern soldiers who lost their lives freeing the slaves.

    He may not know that history that far back about what is now dead civilizations.

    I was talking the other day to Roderick, a black republican I talk to during the week. He knew all about the beginning of slavery. He even knew that almost all slaves from Africa ended up in the Caribbean with some exceptions. I think historians say about 90 percent went to the caribbean.

    Do tell, what is the continued "suffering" of which you speak?? More, if I myself find that I have an historic connection to my own family having been victimized by slavery, but I don't recognize this suffering you assert, how do you know it's something real?

    my wise White parents once proved to me that we do in fact enjoy, White Privilege, therefore it is our Godly duty to give back what we stole. So I do that, vehemently, and it cures my agony.

    That's because the Northern Armies who invaded the South didn't chose to do so to "...free the slaves".
    They were ordered to kill their fellow countrymen to preserve the Union.

    If the noble goal of the North were to free the slaves, the Emancipation Proclamation would have been issued at the beginning of the war and would have freed slaves in all of America, not just the Southern states.
