To liberals: How many deaths are acceptable to you?

Another mass shooting has brought out the left pimping dead kids to push their agenda. The gun control nonsense has been going nonstop in order to play upon the sympathies of those who are shocked and horrified by the school shooting.

The solution, they believe, is making assualt rifles illegal. The thinking is to limit the damage done by these killers. This will not stop the killings it will only limit damage, supposedly. That means liberals accept a certain amount of killing.

That being said, my question to lliberals is : How many deaths do you find acceptable?

Then we looked at our gun laws which were like America - state based and really open

We brought in gun reform (and be very worried because it was a Conservative PM who pushed it)

Since then - ONE mass shooting fitting the FBI definition - and that was a family murder/suicide

 

I'm not even in favor of gun control, but "Change nothing because you might not be able to eliminate all child murders" is an embarrassingly shitty argument and you really should have thought about this a bit longer before posting.

 

I am not arguing to change nothing but we need common sense change, gun control is not common sense. You cannot compare a sparsely populated and isolated Island country to the US.

 

I'd be satisfied with closing the gun show loophole. Gun shows are a ****ing shitshow and the ugliest stain on America's already stained culture.

 

But that will not stop killings or limit the damage.

These school shootings are by students. These students are in school and why cannot they be seen as having problems?

 

The USA amounts to 50 separate and small countries all sharing a common group in DC alleged to be the Federal Government.

 

That then is all that happened in Aussieland. Tell us all, why are there still to this day so many guns in Aussieland yet as you claim, no mass killings?

 

THAT POST you made is an absolute and total lie. I'm sorry, but BEFORE that mass shooting I was on this very board advocating for passing laws that would eliminate mass shootings without gun control.

Not one single, solitary liberal joined in with me. An anti gun control troll did say he would support those proposals if we tied it to gun control. So, the gun banners won't join the pro-gun side and work on reducing the violence without the control. The left is lying and playing a sick game.

If you want to reduce firearm deaths and can't get gun control on the table, then support common sense legislation to reduce the firearm deaths and come back to the gun control argument at a later date. But you really need to quit playing the blame game when people are being killed and here you have a pro-gun advocate offering you a solution to end the carnage without attacking the Second Amendment.

 

How about this change. Are you in favor of instant justice? In the Florida case, the killer was caught moments after he killed and he confessed on the spot to the cops.

Can our change be taking him to a safe area and shooting him with a firing squad? The word all over America would get around.

Why should I do anything? If I were the parent of a student at that school, then I'd do something.

It's that whole boot straps thing, again. Is your kid at risk in some garbage can of a public school that thinks prohibiting guns on campus is going to protect your child? If so, then what are YOU going to do for YOUR child?

 

Pray tell how? With only one exception, all recent mass killings in recent united states history were able to pass background checks to acquire the firearms they utilized, because they possessed nothing in the way of disqualifying factors that would prevent them from legal purchase. The only exception is one who murdered the legal owner of the firearms, who then stole them for their own use.

 

Because our society equates aggression and violence with masculinity and self-actualization? Being a violent prick is the kind of behavior we encourage.

 

I'd like to know that myself when gun shows require the same, identical things the retailers in the store require - ID, SSN, background check OR a weapons permit and ID. What freaking loophole?

 

So, nothing is acceptable if someone can be killed because of it, and nothing should ever be done to ever limit any killing unless it is 100% effective?
