    The core commercial problem is that EU drives a different economy to the UK. As members of the EU, our free trade agreements have to protect EU industries that are not relevant to us. SO, for instance, access for banking, insurance and financial services take a back seat to agriculture. As an example, the EU-EAC treaty was derided even by Traidcraft for its unfairness in respect to agriculture. EU negotiators actually suspended the UK's inward trade with Kenya to force them to sign. They used the UK's market influence to open exports for EU-subsidised agricultural products in competition with local farmers. As soon as the Brexit result came in, Tanzania threw out the EU treaty.

    Simples, they run a deficit. They wish to borrow.
    We run the worlds biggest banking operation. There is no where else for them to go.
