It's the British Commonwealth taking all your medals.
60 golds between them last time I totted it up.

Gold in the boxing for GB.
2 clear of Australia and the ROC (Russian Olympic Cheats) now on 19 golds.
Just one more full day to go.

...and another gold in the men's Modern Pentathlon makes it 20.
GB won the women's MP yesterday.

Last gold medal chance for GB in the women's boxing.
One ahead of ROC who still have a final in the handball to go.
A win for Lauren Price means they can't catch us I think.

Wow, the handoff to France in the closing ceremony was so incredibly beautiful! With the Marseillaise being played from the roof of the Stade de France, and a symphonic hall, and Ile de la Cité, and the Louvre... and even the International Space Station!

    Spectacular!

From space above Japan to the roofs of Paris! So! Incredibly! Beautiful! Then the bike over Grand Palais, and Palais Garnier... the Pantheon... and finally of course the Tour Eiffel.

If you count like this, then we'll add to our medals, all the medals from other countries that have alliances with us... NAFTA, Organization of American States, NATO... Why not the United Nations? After all, their headquarters are in New York City.

This just in. The Brits accused our guys (Italy) in the 4x100m race of doping... it turns out that it was a British runner who tested positive for doping. LOL LOL LOL
