Hello, I never actually do these type of posts because in most forums they'll have 800 views and 0 responces.

I'm and old industrial/commercial construction worker. If you are interested in MBTI personality typing I'm a ISTP if not familiar think Daryl Dixon from walking dead, Catwoman, Aragorn The Lord of the Rings I feel Harrison Ford's Han Solo is an ISTP but most people think he's a similar type ESTP.

My political beliefs are center left with extremes of right and left and then there are some I don't know where to place like if I want all ceo's to spend life in a supermax prison as a warning to the next guy to take the throne that might be left because wanting the corrupt to pay for their crimes or right wanting to throw away the key as well as some may be innocent but you have to break a few eggs for the sake efficiency.

The profile is named after "Thomas Alan Waits is an American singer, songwriter, musician, composer, and actor. Waits' music is characterized by his distinctive deep, gravelly singing voice and lyrics focusing on the underside of U.S. society".
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Waits

Most people have never heard of him but have heard his songs in the 138 movies and tv shows his music has been used in, Netflix The Punisher, The X Files, The Walking Dead, Gotham, Orange Is The New Black, How I met Your Mother etc.

And the 38 actor credits The Outsiders, The Fisher King, Seven Psychopaths, The Simpsons etc.

He has a huge spectrum of sounds rock, jazz/blues, folk, country, experimental, gosple.

I'm guessing several super hero costumes in his closet and a lot of FB likes on Tom Waits site.

I wish I had the artistic ability to make those costumes some of the ones on the videos look awesome. I've never seen the Tom Waits FB page, I either listen to his cd's or autoplay the youtube videos. Spend most of my time chasing after a 3 foot version on myself that's just as arrogant and far more energetic.

You can't have a Political Forum without diversity of opinion. This place thrives on political differences.
So, you are perfect - for us. ;-)

Welcome. I enjoy some of Tom Waits' stuff. I actually appreciate him as an actor more than as a singer.

Wait is good - a cross between Howling Wolf, Joe Cocker and Francois Villon.

In the album Real Gone his voice sounds like a gin soaked garbage disposal., that"s one is my favorite. Probably because I listen to a lot of 80s punk rock.

My 2 year old to saw me typing on my tablet and wanted to play. It autocorrected what he typed and this is his message to the forum.

NM as hi my not brunch jerks

The girl behind the counter had a tattoo tear
One for every year he's been away she said..

Is it true that TW is so obscure? His (original) version of Downtown Train is far better than Rod Stewart's version.

Full of all those Brooklyn girls,
They try so hard to break out of their little worlds,
You wave your hand and they scatter like crows,
They have nothing that'll ever capture your heart...

And I have a vague memory of seeing him in a movie set in Germany with the great Ian Dury. Another poet. Do you know it?

I'm not familiar with it but its probably in his imbd

There's a movie I found that's nearly 2 hours. My son dosen't like him so I haven't had a chance to watch it.

I really like how a lot of his songs paint a vivid picture.

I was originally going to name the profile Lard which is the band Jello Biafra started after the Dead Kennedys broke up or Power Of Lard after their first song but that may have put me in a situation where I would need to explain that I'm not a self hating obese person or that I'm not casting shade at obese people. A lot of my posts are already aggressive and insulting and I didn't want to lite a fire under that.

Edit: made it about 30 minutes through the movie, to slow and artcy for me.
