    “He is just a businessman without the basic understanding of national security," the general reportedly said about Trump. "Everything is a business transaction for him and making money is winning to him and the only thing that matters.”

    Here is yet another military commander knocking the POTUS. Now I agree that when in uniform he should not be making such statements as it could hurt his career. That said, how many more people need to speak up, highlight Trump's deficiencies and yet the Republicans in the House and the Senate say and do nothing to inhibit Trump's digressions as POTUS.

    I am convinced he will be one of the most unpopular US Presidents for a very long time.

    Interesting to note that Lincoln was (properly) despised in his time, but revered now.

    He was a sociopathic butcher and arguably our worst; 10,000 times more horrible than Trump.

    The peculiar thing from Trump supporters, all the accusations against him, or even Kavanaugh, were all supposedly debunked by Trump supporters, yet now this guy is guilty.

    I'm going to go on a limb and say you don't knew how flag officers are selected and promoted? The Senate is kind of involved when it comes to flag officer's assessments.
