"A Tory MP has quit the Eurosceptic European Research Group, claiming a "hardcore element of 'Unicorn' dreamers" were "endangering Brexit". Daniel Kawczynski voted against Theresa May's Brexit deal twice, before deciding to back her withdrawal agreement last month."

He suddenly realised that a no deal will mean he won't be able to 'work' in the EU parliament when he finishes in the Westminster one. :roflol: Then again, with a name like Kawczynski, why would he want to work in the EU parliament? Might it be that it's more convenient for him to travel from Poland to Brussels than from somewhere in the UK to Brussels? Hold that thought??

''Eurosceptics'' are still chasing the unicorn Brexit which has been shown not to exist.
Realpolitik will eventually determine the outcome not putrid ideology.

    Brexit is like Trump's wall.
Far more costly than its supporters will ever admit and it won't acheive the purpose it was intended for.

Going by my Grandparents I'm a mix of English, Irish and Gibraltan.
I'm British and European but can never claim to be a Frenchman.

The childishness and possible even treachery of these people is beyond belief...though possibly it is more their believe in the childishness of those they are getting to shout for what they want, what will be good for their bank accounts. Seriously if anyone believes that the EU is holding the UK against it's will when we have a choice, then they are crazy and not taking responsibility for their own actions. Their continuous threats to harm the EU in an attempt to get the EU to harm the UK could almost be seen as treason. Why would anyone in England think they should obey the law when they have people like this as their role models.

The most pathetic things about it is they believe there are people thick enough to believe them.

Rees Mogg then goes on to squeal that May's successor may just tear up any agreement May makes. These people are not fit to be in Government. They are though the potential far right leaders of the future. Would England stand for that. I don't believe it.

She: Eyes closed in anticipation of French and British lips coming together again.

He: 'Alors! Won't this stupid Rosbif woman ever understand that we're all laughing our heads off at her!!'

When will this national embarrassment and humiliation end?

Anyone that voted for Brexit is now in the camp of
seriously.....haven't you got past that pathetic soundbite yet...I mean that's what this is to you....a bunch of jacked up white supremacists spreading the gospel of hate and white dominion against the benevolent patriarchal political system nestled comfortably across the channel....or are you quivering in your boots over some delusional dystopian perception of a new world order usurping your comfortable existence; a profound shift in your grasp of political reality that goes by the name of......democracy.
This just drips of hyperbole and cant; a tedious unimaginative argument based on a moribund intellect which cannot reach beyond the realms of popularist soundbites....ah bolloxs to it no wonder I'm bored with this whole fcuking thing if that's the level of debate.....mile wide and an inch deep.....no depth or perception....just a bunch of lazy dilettantes

Well, it has been shown that the Brexit campaigners' promises were impossible to implement and their whole campaign was based on lies and distortions. It has also been shown that the economic consequences will be dire.
Loss of sovereignty has been exposed as fake news due to Parliamentary Supremacy.
I don't see what's left but the fear of hearing Romanian spoken on the bus.

If this thread doesn't rise to a more adult level of debate I'm backing out of it. I find it a bit embarrassing actually.

Parliamentary supremacy along with a veto ensures that no laws or regulations can be forced upon us. This is how we have been able to keep the pound and stay out of Schengen.
That is how loss of sovereignty is shown to be fake news.

Well, we can add that to pile of things you don't understand. A pile so massive it is in danger of collapsing in on itself and forming a black hole.

It was Farage himself who complained of having to listen to Romanian on the bus. This, despite the fact that his children and wife presumably speak German on occasion in public.

fake news!!! what are you some puppet for the Amercans....fake news .....:roflol::roflol::roflol::roflol:....so in other words you have absolutely no idea what you are wittering on about. Fake news is a idiogram for an alternative dimension on something that a lobbyist may not agree with....don't hide behind soundbites...be a fkucing man and say what you mean instead of blurbing on in some invented form of speech designed for morons in America who can't think beyond their meagre intellects. Don't be taken for just another internet chat site post counting moron looking for "likes".....
You have no perception of the politics or the nuances of what you think you know....you witter on about "the brexiteers campaign" as it they have a monopoly on bullsyte yet you trumpet the banalities of the "remainers"...i'm using popularist terms with which you can relate to.....brexiteers....remainers....what a friggin joke....Kant would be laughing from his grave if he saw what his absurd legacy had caused...
ja...mensch...Ich meinte das nicht ....gott in himmel... was sol ich sagen...du bist alle verrucket...ein Land nicht alle zusammen

Great personal attack there. Very little rebuttal of any arguments though.
I see that you are no stranger to posting like an American troll yourself.

I'll make it a bit more ''blighty'' for you.
Loss of soveriegnty is a red herring.

As it happens I was in my town centre yesterday, and there were so many women in hajibs/hijabs/niqabs/kebabs (lol) or whatever the **** they're called, and so many tongues being spoken, mostly at high decibels (they don't seem able to talk at a normal cadence, don't ask me why!), that I felt like a stranger in my own town/country. I have nothing against ethnic diversity, but I do not like being outnumbered by foreigners, and I don't ****ing care who knows it!!
