It appears a televised town hall meeting about a school shooting incident was, at least in part, largely scripted, with some of the high school students being given prior scripts about what questions to ask. https://www.realclearpolitics.com/v...fter_denying_question_about_armed_guards.html Kind of reminds me of those infomercials where two actors are acting like they're having an on-the-spot spontaneous discussion, when in reality the entire conversation is based on a script they had memorized. Are we really surprised? A lot of news today is half fake, just trying to push up the ratings (like any other TV show) or to push a narrative.
He said they asked him to pose a scripted question but he didn't go to the meeting. There was no example of an actual scripted question being asked that I saw.
I attended the event and it was entirely scripted, each student participant was handed a 4" X 6" white index card with "their" pre-printed question on the top part of the card, they where folded and some of them had follow up questions printed on the lower half, Tapper was covered by two cameras with Autocue teleprompters, which also rolled the students questions and his scripted responses.
