I'm relating the truth. In the R primary season Trump said that McCain was a war hero 4 times in the entire discussion. That is a fact. He also said the McCain was not a war hero once previous to those four statements. That is also a fact. There is no victory involved - only a statement of what was said. If you choose to cherry pick the conversation and impose your own interpretation of what was said, how it was said, and what was meant by the speaker that's fine but meaningless opinion. And that is what the smear machine does - picks the facts which fit the preferred narrative and imply a meaning to what was said again to fit the narrative.

And there it is - you don't agree so why should you read a book that does not fall into line with your preconceived narrative. Sad.

Going out on a limb, but I'm pretty sure I'm not the one with fabricated barriers in my head.

Sure. You called me a racist and you know nothing about me. Your credibility took a huge hit with me right then and there.

Nothing but preconception and the illogical conclusion that disparate outcomes prove racism. Sad.

They need to ask themselves "How much do I like my job and the income it provides"?

Why do they continually vote for a party that does nothing for them ?? It's a mystery.

There is nothing wrong for NFL fans to not watch as much football. I recorded the Monday Night Football game last night but deleted the recording after watching the disrespect shown to the country and those who died defending the flag. That's a much more respectful response than certain players have shown.

For genuflecting before the flag? LOL.. You do know there are many, many black veterans. They get it even if you and Trump don't.. What do you think "with liberty and justice for all" means?

Well yes; but you don't understand. Obama himself made it quite clear that no matter the nature of the offensive remark where race-baiting and race-agitating are concerned it is NEVER WRONG when a leftist does it. It now seems to be an issue of faith and ideological dogma on the Left.

I means when the Cops try to arrest somebody, they don't run, they don't fight, they listen to the cops instructions and they let the courts sort it out. That's not what happens with most black involved Police shootings.

Back in the 1980s, Donald Trump desperately wanted to own a football team, but the NFL was having none of him.

Since the alleged real-estate mogul couldn’t get into the NFL, he joined their short-lived rival, the United States Football League (USFL) and bought the New Jersey Generals. Although his team did well, his drama and naked self-interest made him a lot of enemies. Plus, he so obviously only saw the USFL as a stepping stone to the NFL.

That didn’t go well, Jeff Pearlman explains. And he should know, he’s writing a book about the USFL that’ll be published in 2018. One USFL owner, the Tampa Bay Bandits’ John Basset, even wrote a letter threatening to punch Donald Trump smack in the mouth.

After the demise of the USFL, Donald Trump embarked on a string of failed efforts to buy teams, including the Baltimore Colts, the New England Patriots, and the Buffalo Bills.

And since Donald Trump’s got a case of sour grapes, he might as well mull them into a fine whine.

    Talk about having sour grapes.

Trump is not a racist. That is just a term you guys throw around after someone kicks your ass.

"Trump’s got his opponents arguing against the National Anthem, so maybe he’s not as dumb as you think."

Have you no curiosity about why he said McCain wasn't a war hero? Or that he preferred people who weren't captured?

That is impossible to know and therefore speculation. Trump immediately added that McCain indeed is a war hero - 4 times. All this occurred during the R primary season and not after Trump secured the R nomination and the Presidency.

It's ironic you accuse me of cherry-picking when I give a an interpretation of the whole exchange, whereas you simply cherry-pick "he was a war hero" and ignore the rest (somehow you still can't bring yourself to address "I prefer people who weren't captured"). Why do you believe "he was a war hero" and not the rest? What did you say about picking the facts which fit your pre-conceived narrative?

Your right and they are not talking about NK, Puerto Rico, Russian Collusion, Healthcare, Tax Reform, etc. All of the things that he doesn't want to talk about.

I have no interest in your interpretation. I have only interest in the facts of what was said then and subsequently.

More attempts at humor ?? BTW it's the Islamists who have invaded Europe (actually at the invitation of all the social democratic elitist leaders of the governments of Europe) that are the anti Semites.

No you don't- you have no interest in "he's not a war hero" or "I like people who weren't captured". You talk about fake news and yet blatantly misrepresent this conversation. Any honest explanation would account for those 2 statements. If you don't want to, that's fine, but then don't pretend you know what Trump meant.
