You obviously aren't following the testimony in the trial that's being reported. This case is over.

Trump Deletes Post Fuming That Stormy Daniels Is Expected to Testify Today

'Donald Trump launched into a new attack on the judge in his New York hush money case on Tuesday morning complaining that he’d just learned who would be testifying later in the day—with reports suggesting that porn star Stormy Daniels is about to take the stand.

Her attorney, Clark Brewster, told the Associated Press that Daniels would “likely” be called as a witness on Tuesday. “I have just recently been told who the witness is today,” Trump wrote in the hastily-deleted post on his Truth Social platform, according to screenshots of the text shared on social media. “This is unprecedented, no time for lawyers to prepare. No Judge has ever run a trial in such a biased and partisan way.”

Trump didn't falsify records because he pays people to keep records and no one has testified they were told to falsify anything. Hope Hicks denied the money to Stormy was to influence the election. She wouldn't ruin her career by lying.

ABC has the trial live-streaming reporting during the day.
Pretty good coverage and will probably be exceptional today.

Hicks testified it was all about the election and Melania/family were also concerns.
    Hicks "deny deny deny" ,
Trump told her it was better to have paid the $$$ before the election.

Looks like Trump's lawyer knows there was sex acts between her client and Stormy.
Oh, the old mode operandi, have a female defense lawyer question the female who her client is accused of being sexually involved with.

Trump lawyer Susan Necheles said the defense team objects to Stormy Daniels testifying about intimate details involving her relationship with Trump.

Necheles said they objected to Daniels' testifying "about any details of sexual acts," which she said would be "unduly prejudicial," adding there was "no reason for it to be coming into a case about books and records."

Prosecutor Susan Hoffinger responded that there would be “no descriptions of genitalia or anything. ... But it’s important to us to illicit that she had sex with him, and how she felt about it."

As is the custom each morning, a small group of photographers are in the courtroom taking a picture of Trump seated at the defense table.

This routine has happened every morning of Trump's trial and provides the only images that we see from inside the courtroom.

Trump, who seems to be keenly aware of the photography session, has varied his facial expressions over the weeks of trial.

This morning, knowing that Stormy Daniels is set to take the stand and potentially detail the sexual encounter he is accused of paying thousands of dollars to keep secret and that he has denied ever happened, he is wearing a scowl.

The jury is being shown internal page of Trump's book as prosecutors enter excerpts into evidence

The jury is now being shown an internal page of Donald Trump's book, "Trump: How to Get Rich."

Rebecca Mangold asked Sally Franklin to read a line from the book, "I am the chairman and president of The Trump Organization. I like saying that because it means a great deal to me."

Another excerpt reads, "For many years I’ve said if someone screws you, screw them back." It goes on to say, "Like it says in the bible, an eye for an eye."

"When somebody hurts you, just go after them as viciously and as violently as you can," the excerpt continues.

Who is witness Sally Franklin and why is she in court?
    From CNN's Antoinette Radford

Sally Franklin is the first witness to the stand on Tuesday.

Franklin works at Penguin Random House, as senior vice president and executive managing editor.

CNN legal analyst Paula Reid says Franklin has likely been called to testify to evidence in the book written by former President Donald Trump, "Trump: How to Get Rich" book – which was published by Random House.

"There's something in here the prosecutors clearly want to get in" Reid said.

The jury is now being shown the cover photo of "Trump: How to Get Rich."

Trump leaned over and said something to his attorney Susan Necheles when the cover of the book appeared.

"What percentage of the cover is the word 'Trump'?" prosecutor Rebecca Mangold asks.

Sally Franklin says it looks like it's about 30% of the cover.

You must be following trial coverage from Kellyanne Conway’s alternative facts network, because that’s not remotely what she testified here in the real world.

Isn’t it obvious. Uriah is the judge and jury of the trial. If he says the case is over, it’s over. The judge will now dismiss the case, the jury will go home all because some random user on the internet has said the case is over. It’s only over in his mind. Denial is a very very strong defense mechanism.

I wish this was televised. We’d still have cult members telling us the that the testimony is the opposite of what it actually is, but we could observe it for ourselves.

When the transcript of Stormy's testimony becomes available I''ll post it.
Coverage of it by reporters can't do it justice.

Trump tried "to sign as many checks as possible," his book reads

Sally Franklin is reading another excerpt from "Trump: Think Like A Billionaire."

“Here’s something else about God that any billionaire knows. He is in the details and you need to be there, too. I couldn’t run a business any other way," the book reads.

"No detail is too small to consider. I even try to sign as many checks as possible. For me, there’s nothing worse than a computer signing checks," the book continues. "When you sign a check yourself, you're seeing what's really going on inside your business, and if people see your signature at the bottom of the check, they know you're watching them, and they screw you less because they have proof that you care about the details."

Agreed. They tend to focus on extraneous things, too. This is about evidence and the law, not the Orange Dimwit's scowling.

Stormy Daniels has taken the stand
    [IMG]
    Rebecca Shabad
    is in Washington, D.C.

Prosecutors have called adult film actress Stephanie Clifford, who goes by the name Stormy Daniels, to the stand.

She was integral to the "catch and kill" scheme in the case as she was paid $130,000 by Michael Cohen to keep her claims about having a sexual encounter with Trump quiet ahead of the 2016 election.

Trump eventually reimbursed Cohen for the payment.

This should be interesting. She's smart, but needs guidance in her testimony. She's a bit unpredictable.

Analysis: Stormy Daniels testimony will not make or break case, CNN legal correspondent says
    From CNN's Maureen Chowdhury

Stormy Daniels' testimony in the hush money trial against Donald Trump may not necessarily help prosecutors in terms of the key charges in the case, CNN Chief Legal Correspondent Paula Reid said.

"She's a colorful witness. She was at the center of this hush money payments but I want to be realistic in terms of what she offers the prosecution," Reid explained.

Daniels will be able to testify about the affair with Trump — which he has denied — and talk about the renewed interest in her story in late October 2016, after the access Hollywood tape. She can help bolster the prosecution's argument that suppressing her story was done to help Trump win the White House as well, Reid notes.

"But what she can't help is the actual charges at the heart of this case, which are 34 counts of falsifying business records," Reid said. "She doesn't really have any knowledge of how Michael Cohen was reimbursed by the Trump Organization. So this is certainly a blockbuster day just in terms of the historical significance. But Stormy Daniels is unlikely to be able to make or break the prosecution's case."

All jurors are looking up at Stormy.
Jurors have monitors in front of them covering the court room.
No one is looking at monitors.
