:) Oh now, it went from "stretch marks" to "discomfort" !!!

So women dying isn't "significant" because the numbers aren't higher!!!!

What a disgusting way to describe what women go through to have a baby, what their mother went through to have them!!!

Right on cue an Anti-Choicer denigrates mothers by rolling the following into two words, "stretch marks", now "discomfort, ....that's how little they think of what mothers went through.

HERE VOLUNTEER FOR SOME OF THIS "DISCOMFORT" :

Normal, frequent or expectable temporary side effects of pregnancy:

      • exhaustion (weariness common from first weeks)
      • altered appetite and senses of taste and smell
      • nausea and vomiting (50% of women, first trimester)
      • heartburn and indigestion
      • constipation
      • weight gain
      • dizziness and light-headedness
      • bloating, swelling, fluid retention
      • hemmorhoids
      • abdominal cramps
      • yeast infections
      • congested, bloody nose
      • acne and mild skin disorders
      • skin discoloration (chloasma, face and abdomen)
      • mild to severe backache and strain
      • increased headaches
      • difficulty sleeping, and discomfort while sleeping
      • increased urination and incontinence
      • bleeding gums
      • pica
      • breast pain and discharge
      • swelling of joints, leg cramps, joint paininfection including from serious and potentially fatal disease
(pregnant women are immune suppressed compared with non-pregnant women, and are more susceptible to fungal and certain other diseases)
      • extreme pain on delivery
      • hormonal mood changes, including normal post-partum depression
      • continued post-partum exhaustion and recovery period (exacerbated if a c-section -- major surgery -- is required, sometimes taking up to a full year to fully recover)

Normal, expectable, or frequent PERMANENT side effects of pregnancy:

      • stretch marks (worse in younger women)
      • loose skin
      • permanent weight gain or redistribution
      • abdominal and vaginal muscle weakness
      • pelvic floor disorder (occurring in as many as 35% of middle-aged former child-bearers and 50% of elderly former child-bearers, associated with urinary and rectal incontinence, discomfort and reduced quality of life -- aka prolapsed utuerus, the malady sometimes badly fixed by the transvaginal mesh)
      • changes to breasts
      • increased foot size
      • varicose veins
      • scarring from episiotomy or c-section
      • other permanent aesthetic changes to the body (all of these are downplayed by women, because the culture values youth and beauty)
      • increased proclivity for hemmorhoids
      • loss of dental and bone calcium (cavities and osteoporosis)
      • higher lifetime risk of developing Altzheimer's
      • newer research indicates microchimeric cells, other bi-directional exchanges of DNA, chromosomes, and other bodily material between fetus and mother (including with "unrelated" gestational surrogates)

    Occasional complications and side effects:

      • complications of episiotomy
      • hyperemesis gravidarum
      • temporary and permanent injury to back
      • severe scarring requiring later surgery
        (especially after additional pregnancies)
      • dropped (prolapsed) uterus (especially after additional pregnancies, and other pelvic floor weaknesses -- 11% of women, including cystocele, rectocele, and enterocele)
      • pre-eclampsia (edema and hypertension, the most common complication of pregnancy, associated with eclampsia, and affecting 7 - 10% of pregnancies)
      • eclampsia (convulsions, coma during pregnancy or labor, high risk of death)
      • gestational diabetes
      • placenta previa
      • anemia (which can be life-threatening)
      • thrombocytopenic purpura
      • severe cramping
      • embolism (blood clots)
      • medical disability requiring full bed rest (frequently ordered during part of many pregnancies varying from days to months for health of either mother or baby)
      • diastasis recti, also torn abdominal muscles
      • mitral valve stenosis (most common cardiac complication)
      • serious infection and disease (e.g. increased risk of tuberculosis)
      • hormonal imbalance
      • ectopic pregnancy (risk of death)
      • broken bones (ribcage, "tail bone")
      • hemorrhage and
      • numerous other complications of delivery
      • refractory gastroesophageal reflux disease
      • aggravation of pre-pregnancy diseases and conditions (e.g. epilepsy is present in .5% of pregnant women, and the pregnancy alters drug metabolism and treatment prospects all the while it increases the number and frequency of seizures)
      • severe post-partum depression and psychosis
      • research now indicates a possible link between ovarian cancer and female fertility treatments, including "egg harvesting" from infertile women and donors
      • research also now indicates correlations between lower breast cancer survival rates and proximity in time to onset of cancer of last pregnancy
      • research also indicates a correlation between having six or more pregnancies and a risk of coronary and cardiovascular disease
    Less common (but serious) complications:

      • peripartum cardiomyopathy
      • cardiopulmonary arrest
      • magnesium toxicity
      • severe hypoxemia/acidosis
      • massive embolism
      • increased intracranial pressure, brainstem infarction
      • molar pregnancy, gestational trophoblastic disease
        (like a pregnancy-induced cancer)
      • malignant arrhythmia
      • circulatory collapse
      • placental abruption
      • obstetric fistula

    More permanent side effects:

      • future infertility
      • permanent disability
      • death.

I never said stretch marks, so simmer down and pay attention. Fact remains you are stating temporary discomfort as justification for wanton homicide. Any thinking person can see how that argument just doesn’t hold up to even a little scrutiny. .

Actually the same side effects as abortion only higher instance in abortion.

And there are many millions of mothers walking around perfectly fine. And without the guilt of having slaughtered her own child.

    Side effects of abortion .

    https://americanpregnancy.org/unplanned-pregnancy/abortion-side-effects/

    Possible serious side effects.

    • Heavy or persistent bleeding
    • Infection or sepsis
    • Damage to the cervix
    • Scarring of the uterine lining
    • Perforation of the uterus
    • Damage to other organs
    • Death
    • Death

    Harmless right?

So the so called pro choice agenda is not to save women’s lives (obviously) .

    What is it then?

    More abortion side effects:

    • Severe abdominal and back pain that prohibits you from standing up
    • Bleeding that is heavier than a normal menstrual period
    • Foul-smelling discharge
    • Fever above 100.4 F
    • Continuing symptoms of pregnancy
So, contrary to your notion above, having an abortion does NOT always prevent those issues you listed above anyway.

So again, the agenda, what is it really?

so you are 150% wrong here:

According to YOU abortion is fine since it only causes "discomfort".

In fact that is your errant stance.

Secondly there are more instances of death and disability from abortion.

But more importantly you don’t care about those women who die from abortions? What if that was your mother, daughter, wife??

So a few dying is ok? For what?

Once again what is the agenda really? Women die so saving lives is a bullshit mantra!

Some type of data...even a smidge that backs your ranting opinion would be helpful in accepting one iota of that.

Sure as soon as the guy who said pregnancy has a higher death rate posts his proof. Oh and I did post a link above.

And it doesn’t really matter since the pro
Lifer here earlier said one woman dying from pregnancy is too many, so the same should be true of abortion deaths right?

    "

The pregnancy-associated mortality rate among women who delivered live neonates was 8.8 deaths per 100,000 live births. The mortality rate related to induced abortion was 0.6 deaths per 100,000 abortions."

      • pre-eclampsia (edema and hypertension, the most common complication of pregnancy, associated with eclampsia, and affecting 7 - 10% of pregnancies)
      • eclampsia (convulsions, coma during pregnancy or labor, high risk of death)
      • gestational diabetes
      • placenta previa
      • anemia (which can be life-threatening)
      • thrombocytopenic purpura
      • severe cramping
      • embolism (blood clots)
      • medical disability requiring full bed rest (frequently ordered during part of many pregnancies varying from days to months for health of either mother or baby)
      • diastasis recti, also torn abdominal muscles
      • mitral valve stenosis (most common cardiac complication)
      • serious infection and disease (e.g. increased risk of tuberculosis)
      • hormonal imbalance
      • ectopic pregnancy (risk of death)
      • broken bones (ribcage, "tail bone")
      • hemorrhage and
      • numerous other complications of delivery
      • refractory gastroesophageal reflux disease
      • aggravation of pre-pregnancy diseases and conditions (e.g. epilepsy is present in .5% of pregnant women, and the pregnancy alters drug metabolism and treatment prospects all the while it increases the number and frequency of seizures)
      • severe post-partum depression and psychosis
      • research now indicates a possible link between ovarian cancer and female fertility treatments, including "egg harvesting" from infertile women and donors
      • research also now indicates correlations between lower breast cancer survival rates and proximity in time to onset of cancer of last pregnancy
      • research also indicates a correlation between having six or more pregnancies and a risk of coronary and cardiovascular disease
    Less common (but serious) complications:

      • peripartum cardiomyopathy
      • cardiopulmonary arrest
      • magnesium toxicity
      • severe hypoxemia/acidosis
      • massive embolism
      • increased intracranial pressure, brainstem infarction
      • molar pregnancy, gestational trophoblastic disease
        (like a pregnancy-induced cancer)
      • malignant arrhythmia
      • circulatory collapse
      • placental abruption
      • obstetric fistula
HERE'S MORE OF WHAT ANTI-CHOICERS CALL "DISCOMFORT"
    More permanent side effects:

    future infertility
    • permanent disability
    • death.

Your take on what happens in abortions CANNOT compare in any way to what happens to women in pregancy which YOU claim is only "discomfort"....YOU HAVE BEEN PROVEN WRONG.

There are many things in pregnancy that are SURE to happen. What if it was your mother and you told her to shut up ALL OF THE ABOVE EFFECTS were only "discomfort" ?

AND let's get down to the bottom line.
WHATEVER effects of abortion or gestation..it is the WOMAN'S DECISION which one she chooses to endure... NOT YOURS.

So you are just fine with women dying from abortions, and continuing to have the discomforts you listed as abortion byproducts even after abortions?

You said yourself it doesn’t matter how rare it is, if women die it is wrong!!

So you apparently are both for and against abortion.

Bottom line homicides should never be left to the sole discretion of one person!

but it clearly shouldn’t be. I am thankful to the Democrats that they displayed their blood thirst with the New York law and others. This poked the bear that is all decent people in the U.S. and now states are cracking down left and right. Thanks Dems!!!

People shoot other people in the street whether it is legal or not, so using your logic we should make that legal too.

The point is that even if misogynists ban abortion and scream like demented maniacs , It' s MURDER. It's HOMICIDE !" women will just keep having abortions.....

And DUH, stealing is wrong, molesting children is wrong....having an abortion is NOT WRONG :)...and will always happen :)

Shooting people is wrong, abortion isn't......and will happen even if banned.....:) women will do their "homicide" whenever they feel like it because they do not care that you think it's homicide..:nana::nana: :roflol:

If you think it's wrong for a woman to be punished then don't punish her.

Tell that to the woman who's getting an abortion.
