A more appropriate analogy to my statement would be:

Statistically, why do people wearing seat belts get in more accidents resulting in more deaths than those that don't wear them... which no longer makes sense and thus the analogy fails.

And just like clockwork, the left will once again spend spend spend spend... which is a large part of the issue.

I dont blame Trump for cutting taxes, we need to cut the vessel that is ever increasing taxation. What he failed to do is cut spending by an even larger margin.

Your so wrapped up in partisanship. You cant even discuss the issues.

Lol...don't flatter yourself. The trump cult is smaller than you think, but they are still vicious and irrational and will turn on their own in a heartbeat if they fail to kowtow to trump.
It's pathetic that a mindless personality cult has been able to emerge in the US.
Let's hope it implodes soon, but it speaks poorly of anyone who still clings to it.

And, just like clockwork, the fiscal hawks will come out of the woodwork in 2/21, after being silent about Trump exploding the deficit for 4 years. Nothing new under the sun.

BTW: You know why Trump didn't cut spending, do you? No, it's not because the Dems didn't let him.

As to the topic of the thread: Anyone who thinks that a pharmaceutical company would delay rollout of a multi-billion dollar profit vaccine because they want to hurt a politician is delusional.

    Exactly right.

The left has never seen a tax and spend policy they didn't like.

No argument here, but that's what Democrats do. It's not like they hide it.

Oddly enough, Clinton and Obama had the most fiscally conservative administrations over the past 40 years.

Using raw numbers, Obama built up record debt. This, of course, was deficit spending bringing us out of the recession. If you want to classify Keynesian economics as left, I'll accept that, but I look at results. My point is that deficits were trending in the right direction, which Trump reversed.

Yes, I'll agree that Obama spent big over the 8 year stretch, but deficits were under control by the time he left office.

Trump could have been re-elected by the Largest margin in US history

.............. only if he wore a mask from Day 1 and promoted a Unified approach to fighting the Virus

Trump Lost due to his inaction and incompetence in fighting the Virus

Instead Trump uses pandemic briefings for political grandstanding of Little substance

And I'm all about smaller government. Less tax, and less spending. Something no party has represented for a long time.

I hope people realize the Republican’s have spoken well, what is left of the Party. It’s a sad state of affairs. Why anyone gives them the time of day—treats them as legitimate is anyone’s guess. They’ve proven themselves to be unserious buffoons time and time again.

I don’t wanna see anyone die, it’s not a partisan issue or an urban vs rural one either.

Its like seatbelt laws. I'm opposed to those too. Should not people make their own decisions?

I draw the line when people's decisions overwhelm the hospital system and dent treatment to others, but otherwise im opposed to a nanny state.

one day after the election in 2010, Republicans stopped talking about Ebola.

it was an amazing sight to see.

they literally used a deadly virus to win an election

I doubt that’s where you draw the line or you’d be outraged our president turned masks into a political issue.
seatbelt laws are just so auto insurance doesn’t cost a hundred thousand dollars a year.

Lol @ seatbelt laws only being about insurance.

No, we have laws like that because of how many people see government as their daddy and find it acceptable that government act as parental figures.
