Pursuant to the Amendment at Section V, Congress can enforce the Amendment through legislation. In other words, they can define "subject to the jurisdiction thereof"........and make every anchor baby illegal. Just being born here is only half of the equation. There is another prong that must be satisfied.

That was settled in plyler v doe. “Subject to the jurisdiction” simply means presence inside US borders.

 

That is a gray area. They're not required to aid federal law enforcement, , however they can't obstruct either. In some cases that is what they have done. Ie: people know when and where ICE raids are. that is in way obstruction. So to say no crime hasn't been committed..... that isn't 100% true. They can also file suit. Which is a different animal then criminal.

 

And then they go to jail for aiding and abiding.

You're right, a normal Sanctuary city/state is one that does not help the federal government in enforcing immigration laws. However while they do not have to enforce federal laws, they also may not hinder it. So, if a politician obtains information due to their position that there is going to be a raid in the area by ICE, and then tells the whole world about it, they are hindering enforcement of federal law. Now, someone, I think it was you? Tried to liken them telling the whole world about the coming raid to a DUI check point. That is a false equivalency. There are no laws against telling people about a DUI check point. There is however laws against aiding illegal aliens. And if a politician, who by virtue of their position received information about a coming raid went and blabbed to the world about it in order to warn illegal aliens so that they may hide, then they are aiding illegal aliens. And that is against the law. It is a felony. Additionally it can be considered "harboring" illegal aliens, which again, is illegal and a felony. If convicted then that is a fine and up to 5 years in prison.

And along those lines sanctuary cities have enacted laws that aid illegal aliens. For example allowing them to get a drivers license is aiding them in getting to work, which is also illegal for an illegal alien to do, and illegal for anyone to help with.

And then there are places like California who has made it against the law for any employer or lawyer, doctor etc etc to tell ICE about an illegal alien. Last I knew not all lawyers or doctors work for the government. Most employers certainly are not government agents. That too is hindering federal law enforcement. It is also aiding illegal aliens in keeping their jobs...which is illegal for them to have in the US.

Additionally, passing laws that allow illegal aliens to get drivers licenses, healthcare paid for by the government, and in some small locations allow them to vote in local elections, encourages more illegal aliens to come. Encouraging illegal aliens to come to the US is illegal. A felony.

 

I want the US to get the hell out of the UN and NATO, the UN to get the hell out of the US, and all US troops to be brought home with the exception of embassy US Marines.

It is a terrible mistake to become entangled in foreign treaties and to keep standing armies outside of this country.

The USA never should have entered WWI at all, or WWII in Europe. Only Japan attacked the USA.

Speaking of which: do you even know how much wall is actually being built? So far, Trump has managed to replace 99 miles of existing fencing, and built one mile of new fencing. One. In three years. All talk, no action, as he's always been. Promises kept, my big American butt.

 

When an illegal murders a citizen just sue the state for not enforcing laws that wouod have prevented that action.
