    go read taiwan from 49-80s, and educated yourself. or ROC in 20s-40s

    I know that very well, I rather like the warlord period and literally anything is better than Maoist communism which led to the deaths of ~70 million people.

    if chiang was there, probably the same. look at what he did to taiwan and in 20-40s mainland. why the peasant/mass support the commy back then, but not Chiang. Mao great leap forward shows why a peasant/farmer shouldn't handle the economy. both are dictators

    I disagree.

    Mao's famous quote was "more, faster, better, cheaper". The only thing he didn't care about was human life.

    I think the more Capitalist of two (Chaing) would have been far less pushy to modernize, which is what killed the 70 million people. It's an interesting period to study because China has still blocked so much of it.
