The real question is who the hell deemed Mexico a safe country for asylum?

And Democrats are celebrating  I simply can't comprehend Democrats' behavior. They hate Trump so much they'd destroy the country just to try to hurt Trump. I've never seen behavior so shortsighted, hateful, and anti-American. Is this really today's Democratic party? Or is it the extremists and activists trying to take over?

What it is likely to do is to primary the 40 or so dems who haven't accomplished anything in their first 200 days under Pelosi

Yes, and anytime you see the ACLU immediately fighting against some measure that is designed to strengthen America's sovereignty, our borders, or the integrity and safety of our cities and towns from illegal aliens and 'asylum-gamers', you know we've struck a nerve in the America-hating, hyperliberal Left!

It has now been officially proposed that ANTIFA be declared to be a terrorist organization... and the ACLU should also be declared a subversive, seditious organization that supports the terrorism of illegal invasion of this country. THE WHOLE DAMNED BUNCH OF THEM SHOULD BE ROUNDED UP AND SHIPPED OFF TO GITMO -- INDEFINITELY!

"Whatever you tolerate, you get MORE of...."

I agree. One judge okays it, hours later another judge blocks it. Is this the definition of insanity?

Not to mention the glaring fact that the rule was for the benefit of the United States ---- all of it, not just one party ---- and it's being blocked for purely partisan reasons only.

"A federal judge in California on Wednesday blocked the Trump administration from imposing restrictions on individuals seeking asylum in the United States, just hours after a judge in Washington had decided to let the rule stand while lawsuits play out in court."

    Its just a stalling tactic

I say if a federal judge is overturned 3 times by the sumpeme court he is incompetent and should lose his job

If you cross a country to get to the "good" one, you're not really seeking asylum. You're just going to the biggest honeypot. If economic asylum is OK, then I guess everyone in the U.S. that doesn't like where they live should be given tax payer funded travel to anyone where they want. It's only logical, right Dems? Or are U.S. citizens not as important as illegals?

U.S. District Judge Jon Tigar issued a preliminary injunction that will halt the asylum ban nationwide. The move came hours after a federal judge presiding over similar litigation in the District of Columbia declined to stop its implementation.

They should arm wrestle i mean our judicial system is a mockery as it stands anyways.

    Speaking of "shooting prematurely" ....

This decision was reviewed by the 9th Circuit, and guess what, turns out this left-wing judge failed to make his case.

US can reject asylum claims says the Ninth Circuit

The Trump administration’s order to deny some asylum claims from Central American migrants who illegally cross into the United States from Mexico without asking for asylum there first was placed placed under a temporary injunction by District Court Judge Jon Tigar last month.

You were too quick with the trigger:

A federal appeals court ruled in favor of the Trump administration sensibly rejecting asylum at some parts of the U.S.-Mexico border for migrants who arrive after passing through a third country.
The decision wasn’t a complete reversal of Judge Tigar’s injunction. The appeals panel said that Tigar hadn’t met the burden of showing why the injunction should be applied nationally rather than only in his own district. So the injunction will remain in place for California and Arizona, both of which fall in Tigar’s district. The judge has been ordered to “further develop the record in support of a preliminary nationwide injunction.”

The injunction will not apply in New Mexico and Texas, where some of the busiest illegal crossing areas are found.

Since the injunction will no longer apply in New Mexico and Texas, where some of the busiest illegal crossing areas are found, the Administration's good sense policy may now be enforced.

Texas and New Mexico should just redirect them to California :roflol: Our Californian board members like to tell us how wealthy and welcoming California is, after all, and they don't seem to be worried at all about becoming Calexico....

Northern Mexico is an absolute hell hole in control of the cartels. To have women and girls crossing these rape routes under the guidance of the Cartel Coyotes is madness. Southern Mexico may not be first world but its certainly 2nd world, and Mexico, in fact has the 15th largest economy in the world.

Now that Trump has replaced China with Mexico as our number one trading partner, look for Mexico to move up the rankings.
