NASA has just recently discovered that the sun is going into a period of record low sunspots that is going to dramatically reduce the earths temperature.

In fact, the last time it was this low the Little Ice Age happened.

Kinda shows you that whatever humans do they can't hold a candle to mother nature doesn't it?

We could pump as much crap as we like into the atmosphere and we are still going to get colder.

The day the alarmists wake up and realize we are nothing more than an insignificant species on this planet, at its whim, will be a good day for them.

Its silly to think we are going to "harm" the planet.

    lol

Once again a moron who can't understand the difference between weather and climate. The overall global temperature is still going up. This doesn't mean that it doesn't get cold in the winter.

We had a period of record low sunspots 8 years ago. Remember the awfully cold winters, blizzards, and chilly summers? Neither do I. This happens occasionally, and many times since the Little Ice Age. Meanwhile, this winter we are dealing with another El-NiƱo and the warmer winter it brings. Yeah, the N.E. is dealing with 2 days of cold weather. Weather isn't climate.

Silly to think we will harm the planet? Really? Ya think?

Have you heard about the bleaching coral reefs? How about the radioactive material from Fukushima that is being found in West Coast shellfish, shrimp, and seaweed to name 3 places? Salmon and tuna too. How about mercury in tuna? How about the plastic "island" in the middle of the Pacific and in the Caribbean? Which of these do you reject as "fake news"?

Do you reject science as "propaganda"?

    This is anti-science.

    Climate is not weather.

Um . . . despite Governor Jerry Moon Beam Brown trying like hell to blame his own incompetence on Global Warming and Trump the fact remains that a fire started the inferno and the reason it was beyond control is that environmental wacko leftists -- aided and abetted in their ignorant fanaticism by Brown -- forbade the forest service from doing traditional and effective preventative work to keep such predictable blazes from going nuclear.

So the planet is getting so hot that forests are spontaneously bursting into flame? LOL!

Weather is, however, a derivative of climate.

Seems as though you're the ideologue. What caused the fire in Malibu? Or the fire in Napa and Sanoma? It had nothing to do with the forest service.

Garsh, I don't recall advancing that argument. Can you point out where I said that?

Global warming is changing the climate. Great fires, ceteris paribus, are more likely to occur today. Forest practices, building homes in canyons and forest areas, and the absence of strategic fire breaks add to the problem.

Climate change, global warming, Bigfoot, UFOs, etc...do not cause fires.

Then quote some statistics relevant to climate. Isolated events are not evidence of anything.

Yeah, climate change causes more fires than we would otherwise have.

    You are joking correct?

Have you never READ the BOM?
    http://www.bom.gov.au/climate/change/#tabs=Tracker&tracker=timeseries

Every country that has a bureau has this data collected but if you want a meta analysis then you take the time to read the IPCC reports

I withdraw me earlier statement, I misread the article.

The temperature in space in our upper atmosphere is indeed going to set a record for a new low but there is no correlation to the actual temperature we experience.

It will only affect satellites and space debris.

There is some discussion that we. May be heading for a new minima but I want to see claims like this backed by valid citations

    Thank you

As I have just said there is some scientific speculation that we may repeat may experience a solar minima but that is not assured as we have not enough data
