As I said you care immensely about what I post stop denying it even though you can't refute it despite my requesting you do so.

You said you didn't ask him why, that you haven't gone over it with him to know why. Now you say he did tell you why. Which is the truth?

    And

You are the one who claimed in another thread that if you cut the tax rate it is IMPOSSIBLE to collect more revenue, you said it was mathematically impossible. Now you are claiming it is a fact that cutting your tax rate resulted in you paying more tax revenue.
    So which is the truth?

Red states also have major cities ran by Democrats. Towns rans by Democrats. Villages ran by Democrats. So that's not saying much of anything.

We know you are not an accountant, I didn't say you were and accountant, we can agree to the stipulation your are not an account.

You said you didn't ask him why your tax liability went, that you haven't gone over it with him to know why. Now you say he did tell you why. Which is the truth?

You are the one who claimed in another thread that if you cut the tax rate it is IMPOSSIBLE to collect more revenue, you said it was mathematically impossible. Now you are claiming it is a fact that cutting your tax rate resulted in you paying more tax revenue.
    So which is the truth?

And you still care immensely what I post, stop pretending otherwise even though you refuse to debate.

I'm not a CPA but when my taxes fluctuate, my CPA understands that I want to know exactly of what changed and what I need to do for the next tax season. If my tax liability changes for any reason, I ask a TON of questions since I'm not immersed in tax policy unlike my CPA. They tend to give fairly straightforward and candid responses,

Point is.....the majority paid less in taxes. Trumps tax cut helped the majority of the middle class.

That is the reality....the leftness and their propaganda can't change that reality.

Taxes did not go up for millions of other americans and don't refer to your link. Your link clearly said 90% of americans saw a tax cut and only 5% saw an increase. Your taxes didn't go up, but your refund went down. If you don't understand why, refer to your link'd article. It explained it.

Not for a family making 125K per year like you said you made, with 2 children. You are not in the 5% that saw an increase.

my taxes went up, so I am of course part of that 5% who also had an increase in their taxes.

A family of 4 making $125k a year did not qualify for the $1,000 per child Child tax credit which in 2017 was phased out at $110,000.

The tax reform raised the credit to $2,000 and the phase out starts at whopping $200,000.

This NC family is up $4,000 (26% of their 2017 tax bill) right out of the gate, just based on the child tax credit, now when you add the 100% standard deduction increase and substantially lower income bracket rates 35% stops sounding all that unrealistic, doesn't it? The numbers do add up ;)

But his refund is less, therefore to him, he paid higher taxes. LOL

Hardly anyone has filed yet, how do you know 5% of Americans saw their taxes increase and what percentage of that group saw their taxes go up because THEY EARNED MORE MONEY? You DO realize earning more money makes your taxes go up and that would have nothing to do with the "tax cuts"

    Oh I forgot.

You even said you hadn't seen your return, your story continue to change as the thread went on and we called you on many other your falsehoods. We'll continue to do that. You're pretty deep in it already.

Your cousin only told you what your refund is. You even said so.

Next question would have to be what state you reside in. If you reside in a state like New York and California that are heavily taxed locally, you no longer get to deduct your local taxes against your federal withholding's. People who live in these high tax states, if they did not adjust their withholding's, they would have seen a net increase. But you can adjust for that.

My story has not changed in any way. My accountant also happens to be my cousin. He told me my refund is less, and my taxes went up this year. attacking me personally isn't going to make my taxes go down. I'm sorry you don't like the fact I am paying higher taxes. I'm sorry that I am too. I was told by republicans that I would get a tax cut. I and millions of other americans got a tax increase.
