So sad what the Republican Party has become

Shrugging at domestic terrorism. Interesting flip from a few months ago

The FBI is free to investigate, convict and jail whomever. I'm just saying that for us citizens at minimum, and for the politicians at large, the riots are over(and Trump has long been gone.). It's just amazing that post-Trump's presidency he's still on the minds of people.

Like, how? What was your life before Trump ever became President? Wouldn't you want to go back to that? I would.

When something is reported by the press, it goes into the minds of people. I find that normal.

What's amazing to me is the attitude that we should just forget about it. The FBI isn't going to forget about it. The media isn't going to ignore the FBI, though we should be thankful for the bureau's policy of tight lips. And a majority of Americans want justice.

Besides, it's kinda hard to forget this:

My life before Trump was that of 59 year old. After Trump it's that of a 63 year old. Math, my friend. My life is math.

No. If I'm gonna go back, I'll pick 21, thank you, and I get to keep my decrepit old mind.

He was appointed and employed by Trump, who was POTUS at the time the crimes are alleged. Oh...and Trump said he loves him. That's special.

It's amazing. Trump is STILL talking about his stolen election and Republican senators are STILL lining up to kiss his ring. But news of a former State Dept aide participating in a riot at the Capitol - one in which five people were killed - draws a 'nothing to see here folks' reaction.

I mean it was a revolving door so I would say quite a few.

When did he specifically say he loves this guy and this guy is one out of how many Trump appointed?

It was a revolving door at the low "aide" positions? So how many does this person represent?

No. it was a revolving door at all positions. What do you mean how many does “this person” represent? He was hired and given a security clearance by the trump administration.

It’s sad to see “patriots” shrug so indifferently at these events. Let’s just hope it is partisan desperation because if not, half the country shrugging when government officials are participating in acts of treason will not bode well for the future of this nation.

Is that an argument for you?

How many of Trump's associates, people he worked with, people he touted as the best he could, have been released from prison with a pardon?

Even Steve Bannon begged Trump to shield him from prosecution for defrauding the Trumpsters who donated money to build the Wall.

Trump filled the WH with crooks for 4 years.

This would not be a story were it not for the "Trump appointee" desperation to try and personally tie it to Trump. So this guy is one out of how many people Trump appointed during his term?

What was the turnover rate at the various departments for staff?

    OH now it's Trump ADMINISTRATION.

How so I have said from the get go all the persons who violated the law that day should be prosecuted and good grief it was not "treason" but you're having to engage in hyperbole noted.

Would you like me to post the definition of treason? How about insurrection?

Question: how many appointees did Trump have?
This guy was only a staff assistant.

Is this really that big of a story?

This seems to be the closest connection you can find between Trump and the mob, because the truth is, there's not really that much substance behind the narrative.

No need there was no treason, no charge of treason even by the House in the impeachment, your having to resort to hyperbole noted again.

I didn’t say charge. I said definition — of which the actions on the 6th meet.

Do you think you are fooling someone by changing words?

Be happy you are alive. I can count on my 92 year old neighbor ( retired math teacher) when asked how you doin usually says " when I woke no one said close the casket so I think I am ok". I had thoughts of joking and saying " close the casket" when he says that but my better angle said " don't even think about it PARTIZAN".

So a government official with a security clearance preforming an act of insurrection against the people and the nation that employs him and it is no big deal in trumps America?

I am so glad trumps America is in the dustbin of history and his policy being actively dismantled.
