    What trend is that?

First, the polling of Rasmussen lends itself to lean Republican. Second, that is among likely voters, and among that demographic, I would image he would get 50%.

And a record deficit to fuel it all.

It still is how it is. Trump borrows a record of an amount to fuel the economy. I haven't heard that he has a plan how he's going to repay it all. So recession is coming.

Rasmussen was the most accurate pollster in 2016, and he predicted Hillary to win easily.

Average of polls for Oct. 4, is 42.4%. Really hasn't changed that much over the last year. Jimmy Carter's approval rating in October of his second year was at 49%. Carter's GDP numbers were also better than Trump's at this stage of his Presidency as well.

    Trump just ain't that special.

The rise in debt was Obama's greatest failure.

Sorry, Rasmussen polling isn't a "he" it's a "them" and Rasmussen himself doesn't work on polling anymore.
And in an average of pollster's, Rasmussen isn't more accurate - it's like you won one horse race out of fifty and your friends call you psychic ...

And Trump supporters will continue playing make-believe that these numbers are due to Trump and ignoring the fact that they are rising at about the same level as they have for the past several years.

Trump thrives on propaganda and cult of personality. A very Putinesque, Stalinesque and Orwellian "leader."

Screw him and screw those who support him. It is really sad to see our Republic under such dire threat because so many Americans are uneducated and blind to their own follies which perfectly mimic the follies of many others in the past and the present.

We need Newt it someone like him.
    Sorry to trigger you.
Rasmussen has always been among the most accurate polling companies, and persons. And I'm fairly sure both picked Hillary to win easily.

Don't recall, just know it had nothing to do with Trump unless he has a time machine.

Whoever came in after W was going to have to pump Trillions in to the economy to keep us out of a second great depression. W himself pumped in hundreds of billions in his last few months. If you have an educated argument that Obama overspent, then that's one thing, but to complain that the debt increased as we avoided a depression never makes sense to me.

No, he hoodwinks the educated too. In fact, more educated, more intelligent people can be paradoxically adept at self-deception.
