What the hell are you babbling about? To control poverty in other countries, you don't give the aid to foreign governments to distribute to the poverty-stricken and we are reaping the results of that philosophy. We should be distributing aid and knowledge, or nothing.

We have the social programs and giveaway programs already. Once we have complete gun control then maybe the death camps or at a minimum reeducation camps for thought crime.

In the interest of understanding your viewpoint what Presidential Candidate for the other team do you think loves America?

No you don't want to understand my viewpoint. You just want to jerk my chain. Frankly, I think that there is a number of Dems and Republicans who love America.

Assuming you are right about me (and I have to say you are not) you should present your actual arguments and evidence that there is a Democrat Candidate who loves America for the fence sitters here. There must be a few (fence sitters that is).

Are you a fence-sitter? Those "fence sitters" will decide for themselves. Again, there are many Dems and Repubs who love their country. In my view, Trump doesn't qualify for all the reasons given ad nausea. He also doesn't like you unless you voted for him.

Well no but I try to provide evidence to back up what I am saying. Make America Great Again is a campaign slogan. If repeating it over and over makes you feel like that is what is really happening.......well, okay.

Am I a fence sittler? Maybe, since in most elections I vote for the lesser of two evils, not by party. It is wrong to say most fence sitters decide for themselves -- wrong because your statement assumes people are not evaluating alternative arguments and evolving their positions on issues. For example, at one time I was a liberal socialist, then a libertarian, now a mix of conservative and libertarian views. For me liberalism now means big government, restricting freedom, and buying votes by promising free stuff. My evolution in political views was not just based on experiences, but also based on reading and evaluating other peoples convincing arguments. This has happened on this forum (having someone influence my views) but not very often. I did have someone recommend a book to me on this forum (Energy for Presidents) that partially reframed my view on global warming. So my reevaluation of political positions is still happening and "other people" such as yourself can influence me and others if (and only if) they can frame good arguments. In summary, like you I don't like Trump, but despise Bernie, the fake Indian, the failed Mayor, Mrs. Bill Clinton and other big government libs who would be a total disaster for our country. The fact that I think Trump loves his country does not mean I think he is a great President.

You do make sense to me. I look at character as an important factor in my decision-making process and have been voting for Republicans most of the time. I don't know that some of those that you don't like would be a disaster for our country. My due diligence on Trump has resulted in my view that he is a con-man, does not care about the base people that he embraces, has no respect for our equal branches of government among other things and is hurting our country so badly with his conduct that it will take years for a president who loves our country, respects our laws, has compassion for others, is inclusive rather than divisive, and is not a sexual deviant, in order to impact a recovery from the disaster that Trump has created.

Ike was the last President with an apparent sterling character IMHO and even Ike liked a little [P word] before being elected President. One can have a not so good character and still love their country. Look at boxing promoter Don King ("Only in America") for example.

Trump certainly appears to be a con man on illegal immigration. The recent budget veto over a wall that will never be built was only a result of Ann Coulter challenging his manhood. His recent claimed deportation sweep never got off the ground as anyone who has observed Trump knew would be the case. Frequently Trump changes his mind on issues within a day or two.

I think Trump at times thinks he will do something about illegal immigration but then is then "influenced" by his daughter, son-in-law, or the person or persons who are really in charge who as you point out always Trump (pun intended) the base. The fake claims of building a wall, deporting illegals, deploying the National Guard, and so forth have allowed both sides to use illegal immigration as a motivator for their base while maintaining the status quo.

Not to get too off topic, but what is really disappointing to me about the Republicans in general is they never brought concealed carry reciprocity to the floor for a vote. The people who would previously voted based on gun control will now vote based on fake claims of controlling illegal immigration -- believing it is the RINOs, Democrats, or the (appointed by Trump) DHS Secretary stopping the control of illegal immigration -- whereas the person who could stop it and won't is Trump.

That being said, to get my vote for their Presidential candidate the Democrats would have to run someone like Jim Webb and this will never happen.

I agree with you about the character thing, although Reagan, Carter, Bush Sr., Obama, and some others would pass my litmus test.
Trump has a history of questionable conduct and has no class at all. He is incompetent and is dragging our country down the tubes.
His desire is to become an elite billionaire and it is all about lining his pockets. His tax return would expose his improprieties for all to see, and that ain't gonna happen. I will vote for any Democrat or Republican who runs against Trump in the hopes of saving our democracy from certain autocracy when he has nobody to answer to--meaning us.

Me to, but the political process will not nominate such a person. I believe the importation of illegal immigrants already has destroyed our democratic republic. I don't know about you but when I registered to vote I think all I was asked for was a driver's license and a utility bill (or something with an address on it). No one checked my citizenship.

Your babble is what I am babbling about. You think your knowledge is so special and so does every liberal jack a@!# that does down the pike. If your knowledge is the answer....why hasn't it ever worked?? You keep holding yourself in that high esteem like all the godless and see where it gets you!

and most often what you say are merely leftist talking points that you call evidence. Address the evidence being gathered about lying to the Fisa Court to spy on American citizens!

Gee, you never heard about the Berlin Airlift?

So we should we give a damn about what Germany thinks about US/Iran policy because you can break the sanctions? Go right ahead, we dare you.

Take your Berlin Airlift and shove it where no sun shines. The situation in Berlin was created by the USA. Its like taking a hostage and say you gave sour hostage food.

And go ahead you dare us? Germany has no Sanctions against Iran, so we cant break them. We do trade with them till day one. So far you did nothing against it.

Your president is a lame duck.

    Go on do something.

Where you think IranAir gets their brand new A320 from?

Dude, we already know Trump is a lame duck. We wanted put tariffs on our cars. He wanted sanction our pipeline with russia. Nothing happened. We build our pipeline, we recently blocked US companies out of european defense contracts amd trade with Iran. Even created an instrument that cuts the doller out of Iran trade.

We basicly spit you in the face evry day and you do nothing.

    Her name is Merkel.

And calling her communist is funny. Merkel is hypercapitalist. Your Trump is a commie compared to her.

She starvs greek pensioners to bring profits to german banks. Her entire politics is towards hyper capitalism.

Reminder for you, just because she treats Trump like a ranting Toddler and ignoring him, doesnt make her communist.

Best answer from her towards trump was when he complained that Germans dont buy american cars. She simply said: Well, then build cars that germans want.

I don't personally see that she is communist. She is a godless globalist to your liking, soon to be an Islamic Republic.
