    WASHINGTON — A business associate of President Trump promised in 2015 to engineer a real estate deal with the aid of the president of Russia, Vladimir V. Putin, that he said would help Mr. Trump win the presidency.

    The business associate, Felix Sater, wrote a series of emails to Mr. Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen, in which he boasted about his ties to Mr. Putin and predicted that building a Trump Tower in Moscow would be a political boon to Mr. Trump’s candidacy.

    “Our boy can become president of the USA and we can engineer it,” Mr. Sater wrote in an email. “I will get all of Putins team to buy in on this, I will manage this process.”

    More smoke? The smokiest non-fire in history? Sater has reportedly told folks close to him that he and trump and are going to prison.

    So Putin denies Trump the permits to build, though he wants Trump to be elected, and after being told the deal will guarantee Trumps victory? :confuse: That Putin! He's a cagey one ... :roflol:

    We certainly know without a doubt that team trump wanted to collude with Moscow. Only question is if they succeeded and if trump knew.

    But hold your horses you liberal progressive character. How dare you post anything about Trump regarding Russia? Trump told us that he had nothing to do with Russia. He never even ever had Russian salad dressing noodles Romanov. Oh well there was that case of discussing a Trump tower in Moskovy but what the hell that fell through. So I believe Trump because he told me he will build a wall and Mexico will pay for it.n
    I believe that verything a Trump tells us. Why can't you Librul guys believe the greatest president ever?

    LOL, funny spin, neither Trump nor Putin accepted the proposal, neither of them was probably even aware of it so it's a collusion in the eyes of TDS sufferers :D The only conclusion from this gibberish is that Trump and Putin colluded to ignore/reject the proposal to build a Trump's tower in Moscow and that Trump ended up wiping the floor with Hillary without Putin's help

    Oh and here is an interesting piece of information:

    Sater's [criminal] court records were sealed for 10 years by Loretta Lynch, then the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York

    He was an FBI informant...and a trump employee

    Mr. Sater was a broker for the Trump Organization for several years, paid to deliver real estate deals. A company he worked for, Bayrock, played a role in financing the Trump SoHo Hotel in New York. Mr. Sater and Mr. Cohen even worked together on a peace plan for Ukraine and Russia that they sought to get in front of Mr. Trump’s national security adviser earlier this year.


    As a broker for the Trump Organization, Mr. Sater had an incentive to overstate his business-making acumen. He presents himself in his emails as so influential in Russia that he helped arrange a 2006 trip that Mr. Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, took to Moscow.

    “I arranged for Ivanka to sit in Putins private chair at his desk and office in the Kremlin,” he said.
