The idea that the voter knowing the Truth about the DNC and Hillary "harmed" our electoral process is patent nonsense.

What harmed our electoral process was what the DNC did to Sanders. Further, the propaganda created and disseminated by our intelligence services is far more harmful to our electoral process than anything Russia has done (Not that this did not happen prior to 2013 but in 2013 the creation and dissemination of propaganda on US citizens was made legal). This is another "Elephant in the Room" that our "fair, free and objective" MSM continually manages to ignore.

 

Exactly, there is an article on Mother Jones from David Corn where his entire argument is based on how convincing Christopher Steele was when he met him late last summer and talked about what would become the dossier.

“Ever since we started this Archie Bunker thing in the early ‘70s, making fun of white working people, we kissed them goodbye. You make fun of people, you look down on them, they get the message. You call them ‘deplorables,’ they hear it. You bet they hear it.

Chris proud of his late grasp of the painfully obvious.

“You say they cling to their guns and religion? Oh yeah? I cling to my religion. OK. I’m a little person, and you’re a big person. Thank you, I’ll be voting for the other guy this time.”

Donald Trump won the election because he appealed to the ‘forgotten man and woman’. Middle America has been neglected by the coastal elitists in D.C. for decades. The Democrats in particular have contempt for white Christians while praising Islam and illegal aliens.

The post-racial White majority are routinely demonized by the left while carrying the brunt of the tax burden.
The ‘deplorables’ hit back hard in 2016 and will do it again the next election.

What I don't get about Matthews, however, is that these little epiphanies of his never last, don't stick, and are never, EVER used as measurement devices against the next rounds of leftist abuses against this nation and its customs and traditions. He occasionally says such things and then immediately returns to blindly supporting whatever garbage leftists generate the next time around. Like a true leftist, he never actually LEARNS from history.
