    Trump Death Clock: Times Square Billboard Tallies Lives Lost to COVID-19 Inaction

    A 56-foot billboard called the Trump Death Clock was unveiled in Times Square in New York City. The tally of lives lost to government inaction was created by filmmaker Eugene Jarecki, who says, “On behalf of all of those who needlessly lost their lives to this failed leadership in a pandemic, we need a symbol, a symbol that cries out not only for accountability, but also for more responsible and responsive stewardship, going forward.” As of the Friday morning broadcast, the death toll count was nearly 47,000 and growing.

    Eugene Jarecki assumes that if Trump had acted instead of minimizing the pandemic, the U.S. would have had a death toll per capita similar to countries like Canada or Germany.

    Which makes sense, considering the resources available in the US.

    Unfortunately, there's a orange clown living in the White House and the Americans have not finished counting their deaths.

    Was there anything any president could have done to make us the single nation in the world not affected by covid19?

    I personally think it’s earth cleansing itself. So no I don’t believe anyone can prevent much.

    But the President may want to stop comparing it to H1N1.It doesn’t help his cause.

    Why did he not act sooner to screen incoming travellers from hotspots?

    Why did he wait until mid March to address the shortage of PPE nationwide?

    Why did he not launch a co ordinated effort to get needed equpment where it was wanted

    Why did he not simply believe the experts why does he not simply believe the experts?

    Why was testing delayed so long?

    Was it because he was distracted by the impeachment?

    The actual total death toll from COVID-19 is likely to be higher than the number of confirmed deaths – this is due to limited testing in the US?!!
    Think about it, we may already have a 100,000 deaths or more in this country?!!
