At least you got the first part right.

Maybe you want to buy cheap sh*t made by people making pennies, but I don't want or need to do so. The quality of American-made goods and supporting our own industry is more than worth the extra expense.

    Bullshit.

    Yes.

Obama has issued an executive order that “prohibits the export of goods, technology, or services to Crimea and prohibits the import of goods, technology, or services from Crimea, as well as new investments in Crimea,” according to the statement.

The executive order also authorizes the Secretary of the Treasury to impose sanctions on “individuals and entities operating in Crimea.”

Trump ordered them to look for alternatives to China, he didn't order them out, and yes, he most certainly can shut down trade with China, though his goal is fair trade and for them to stop their Industrial Espionage and theft of US technology. Actually they have done worse than that under Obama:

Chinese breach data of 4 million federal workers - The Washington Post

    https://www.washingtonpost.com › world › national-security › 2015/06/04

Jun 4, 2015 - Hackers working for the Chinese state breached the computer system of the Office of Personnel Management in December, U.S. officials said ...

Negotiations will continue, but we've had it with China's lawless behavior. The Fed is run by idiots, they have the dollar too strong and we are sucking in cash from throughout the world, which is strengthening our dollar against our trading partners and putting upward pressure on the deficit. The Fed, who only raised rates ONE time under Obama, raised rates 8 times in just
Trump's first two years. Unwilling to admit they blew despite Trump's warnings before the final series of increases they want to save face by lowering them slowly even though they are clearly too high, even resulting in flashes of yield curve inversion. Trump's tweets got the dollar value down a bit, but with the stupid Fed, the result will likely be transient.

Trump announces additional increase in tariffs on dirty thieving China.

President Trump announced he would be placing additional tariffs on Chinese goods in response to China placing tariffs on U.S. goods.

Starting on October 1st, the 250 BILLION DOLLARS of goods and products from China, currently being taxed at 25%, will be taxed at 30%. Additionally, the remaining 300 BILLION DOLLARS of goods and products from China, that was being taxed from September 1st at 10%, will now be taxed at 15%.

China has to stop ripping off the US worker, hacking our State Department and stealing our technology.

$550B at 5% = $27.5B in response to China adding $75B, Trump's response is far more measured than China's.

Yes. Especially when one of your top trading partners is using their trade surplus with you, to build a military with which they would like to sink several of our aircraft carriers.

TRUMP KNOWS THIS AND IS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF IT: China’s enormous debt ‘no longer can be ignored,’ analyst says.

How much intellectual property have we stolen from China? Asking for a friend. If the answer is none, we really need to step up our game. We need China, and they need us.
The train that has left is cheap labor. That's the key to getting business back to America.

Trump can't Order private companies to leave China or any other foreign country. There are a number of things he has no legal authority to do but says what he does anyway. That's classic Trump.
A trade war may be a crisis of sorts. Companies may be advised by the State Department to leave a country during an emergency. We have not reached that level of crisis with China just yet, but I could be wrong.

While I can't defend Trump on his choice of words during his Tweet rants today, he is the first president in decades to stand up to China. They have stolen intellectual property from the USA and have manipulated their currency. We have a very large trade imbalance that we either try to correct now or allow the situation to worsen.
For the most part, the USA has already screwed itself. Trump has tried. His efforts may have some impact but for now we don't have much choice but to continue trading with them. Even with a trade agreement, China cannot be trusted. We should try to decouple from them to the greatest extent possible. US companies that can shift manufacturing operations to more honest countries may try to do so. The US may favor those companies and impose less or no tariffs for doing so. Congress could act on trade pacts with Canada and Mexico, but won't risk giving Trump a win.

One area that has not been mentioned is that China will also impact our elections by using deception and misinformation campaigns against the candidate they feel is the weakest. That may be Trump but more likely it will be Trump's opposition.

He almost certainly can do just that, so long as he makes the right declaration. Under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, better known in the trade as IEEPA, presidents have a virtual blank check on regulating economic transactions with other countries, so long as they declare a national emergency — which can include one based on economic threats.

That's not to say that would be a good idea, but Presidents absolutely can do that. Trump simply tweeted the order he did NOT make the declaration that would be required to give it effect. It’s a shot across the bow.

I think it's more of a shot across the bow intended for Chinese consumption, too, but if he wants to encourage U.S. businesses to move - and I would like to see/hear him do more of that - he needs to choose his words more carefully.

Good move by Trump. Thanks for showing the voters the powers we need to work to strip from the executive office.

Why are so many Americans of the mentality common among Latin American peasants? "We need a strong man to lead us" is something you expect to hear in Belize, not the United States.

Not being intimidated by the cry-bullies is an essential characteristic of an America First President. We don't mind that you disagree with us, we respect your right to do so.

The Legislature over the last 80 years has granted FAR too much power to the Executive Branch. We don't disagree on this. They, and both sides, furnished the Administrative State, which is housed in Executive Branch, a massive pile of clubs to hammer us with. You were enthusiastic about Hillary wielding that power, but, long-faced about Trump exercising it. See? You're getting smarter!

I wasn’t ever and am never going to be a Hillary voter. Like ever.

Not supporting Trump does not equal Hillary supporter. And that’s the problem with Trump supporters in a nutshell. Disagree with the President and your branded as an enemy.

Trump is beating the American farmer into submission. Once he has finished destroying their international markets, they will be totally dependent upon his multi-billion dollar welfare programme, State control of agriculture that would make a Bolshevik blush.

Trump announces mega trade war subsidies for farmers…
Trump announced $16 billion in fresh aid to help farmers
and ranchers who have been hurt by his trade war.

Ironic, isn't it? Conservatives have been bleating for years now about Democrats allegedly trying to make people dependent on government handouts as a way to buy their loyalty at the polls. Now the fake Republican so-called president is making red-state farmers dependent on handouts from his administration and, what's even funnier, ordering American producers and corporations around just like a freaking Communist dictator.

I wonder if he has an economic plan as well? He sure seems to think he knows better than everyone else how to manage it.

Of course, the self-proclaimed "King of Debt"'s contriving a yooj entitlement for the US agricultural sector has the added bonus of driving the nation deeper into the red, fiscal responsibility being yet another vanquished vestige of conservatives who bend over for the RINOs of Trumpery.

Whatever....if all that you can do is to twist my words and try to fit them into your desired meaning then you are not capable of intellectual debate or discussion.
