Trump does have his shortcomings, but he was effective at implementing his agenda.

And I cut him slack for temperament based on how he was treated by the media and both dems and Republicans.

With the present state of politics, the US needs a brawler not a dope like Biden.

Good questions. I never voted for Trump in the primaries. But, when the Democrats make the alternative Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden.... it was real easy to vote for Trump.

I am not much of a fan of the Orange Ogre as far as his person goes. I do agree with many of the policies he enacted. Borders, International, Energy Policy, Shutdown of Iraq and Afghanistan to minimal levels, no new wars, etc. I was not happy with his spending.

The MSM (Legacy Media) is no longer trusted and for good reason. Not only did they go all in for YEARS on "Trump-Russia Collusion", but they concurrently ignored the DOJ corruption against the Candidate and President Trump. The MSM lied and lied and lied. They ended up with over a 95% negative reporting rate on President Trump. That's brainwash Orwellian propaganda numbers. Note, Obama got 80% positive reporting during his tenure and he was a total **** up on a regular basis. When people see a massive disconnect between the reality the MSM is trying to sell and actual facts that contradict them, they lose faith and tune out. In fact, those that the MSM attack will be viewed often in a positive light as MSM organizations that are less popular than Herpes are not to be trusted.

 

Trump is an *******, but you're right... he absolute did put the nation first and we cannot say that about China Joe and the Democrats.

That’s a record. Crying foul 3 full years from the future election that nobody has any idea who will be the candidate for either party. I would like to see a contest between two younger, more energetic less hateful candidates next time around. Hopefully a much younger, totally non Trumpist Republican like Ben Sasse, or John Kasich and a Democrat like Tim Ryan or Tulsi Gabbard. The kind of people willing to work across party lines with members of both parties. I think Biden is attempting to do just that but I believe he will definitely be to old by 2024. Trump is too demented already and is really a cancer on this country. Hopefully by next election cycle he will be in jail or at least in an ankle bracelet or take his act back to reality TV where it belongs. I don’t even want to think about another Trump vs Biden race. It’s too depressing to ponder.
