Why would the the POTUS order states to lock down? Where are the governors?

You silly lefties spend years saying Trump will declare himself King and then whine when he has the excuse too but does not.

Oh please. I bet more racists voted for Barack Obama BECAUSE he was black than did not vote for him because he was black. I knew more than a few of them. They didn't like blacks but supported Obama because they wanted to "be part of making history".

 

I did. Now you need to. An apology tour includes an actual apology. Suggesting that this country has erred, or that mistakes have been made, is not an apology. It is a realistic appraisal and conclusion based on a set of facts. This notion that our mistakes should never be discussed, or acknowledged, or that we cannot handle a frank statement of our own wrongdoing lest we be groveling pathetic unpatriotic wusses, is silly and absurd.

Unless you can find a series of apologies in a series of consecutive venues, you have to apology tour.

 

Fine with acknowledging the mistakes of the U.S.

I've been asking myself the same questions for a long time now, but find I am no closer to a viable answer. I am at an equal loss to explain how any voter finds anything about Trump or his Presidency, worthy of their vote.

 

We've gotten years of Trump being called Hitler, and now we get complaints that he's not Hitler enough.

No pleasing some people.

 

I always find comments like yours interesting. It's not difficult at all for someone on the right like me to understand why left leaning people vote the way they vote and support who they support. It's easy for me to understand the appeal of Obama for example, even though I don't share it. But it seems pretty much impossible for you guys on the left to do the same. Maybe that explains the hysteria over the Trump election. When reasons escape you, you're left with only an emotional breakdown.

That statement can be and often is parroted without the need for any knowledge whateoever of what Trump did or didn't do.

 

Maybe because the DNC won’t run a superior candidate in the general. It isn’t complicated.

 

Successfully? Really? The governor of Massachusetts bought a million face masks from China and Trump ordered the shipment confiscated for him to distribute as if he got them for us. He stole them from Massachusetts after telling the governors they were on their own to get them. Now Trump is going to distribute them and tell us he is the great guy providing them. What an ass. And his sweet son-in-law is telling the American people that their stockpile of medical equipment belongs to them and not to us. What ffing *******s they are. Successfully leading us through the pandemic? Not on your life.

 

Silly? Oh yeah. When every doctor and medical scientist says that the best way of avoiding getting the virus is to lockdown. Doctor Fauci has said explicitly that the entire country should be on lockdown. You think Drumph and those rightwing governors are smarter about this issue that Fauci is? If you do, you deserve what you get.

 

If you think that all the racists in the country didn't crawl out from under their rocks and viciously attack Obama and his family for 8 years than you must be living under a rock.

 

Some did but not many considering there are not many racists in this country despite what you might think.

 

The governors should be the ones doing these types of lock downs, not the POTUS.

But rail in with the Trump rage and hate. He is still your President so you of course have that right.

 

A good share of racists praised Obama for eight years. Some racists were ambivalent to politics during the Obama administration. A good share of racists attacked Obama. I think you need to study what racism actually is.

America under FDR was caught off guard at Pearl Harbor. The US military was in horrible shape in 1941 even as war waged across the globe and everyone knew America would be drawn in. 1942 started with extensive defeats of America forces in the field. All that under FDR, how is he viewed today?

Leaders are judge on the outcome of events more than the events,Trump will be as well.

Then, please enlighten us liberals with what you regard as good leadership by Trump during this Coronavirus Pandemic. I feel he has avoided leadership by forcing the governors of every state to deal with the pandemic alone, creating 50 epidemics for us to endure, rather than one national one.

 

I feel there were several "superior" candidates running in the Democratic Primaries, but for reasons beyond my understanding, the primary voters failed to select them. Although he was not my personal choice, Biden is capable & competent & has many positive assets that would serve us well as President. Certainly, he is far superior to Trump in all these categories.

I agree there were candidates superior to Biden. When my mom’s dementia got as bad as Biden’s, she quit driving and cooking for herself. Pre-dementia I could have lived with a Biden presidency as long as he left the Constitution intact. Now I’m completely mystified as to what voters and the DNC are thinking.

 

Not only a certain segment - the populace is generally uniformed - on both sides of the fence.

 

He seems harmless enough compared to Bernie and his silly ideology but your right with his ever more evident mental issues he is not fit for the job. Getting old sucks.

Biden is not competent. He can not complete a coherent sentence often under little pressure. The pressure of the office of POTUS would break his mind.

 

The only thing Trump is bad for is the radical leftwing Washington swamp.
