On behalf of so many of my fellow veterans: Please take two running jumps and go to hell, Mr. Trump.

He also called him an imbecile.

Of course the left is shelling out because Trump doesn't like the piker.

I wish I could find it, but a while back I was going back and forth with someone on PF who was saying they wished Trump would die. They were completely serious.

Trump didn’t say Dingell was in hell. He just wasn’t sure if Dingell was looking down or up at them last night.

One of these things, not like the other. Was never a birther, but it is at least a legitimate legal question and not some groundless smear.

This is a very long-winded way of saying “so what” because you think that people are over critical of Trump. But the fact of the matter is that at least some criticism is warranted, as evident here.

I asked you to defend Trump’s statement. Your defense is that people are too critical of Trump. Do I really have to explain to you how stupid that is?

And I don’t believe for one second that you’d just shrug this statement off if Obama had made it about a conservative.

Are you serious? Statements like this don't even make my political radar other than for a quick chuckle, no matter who says them. I grew up on National Lampoon making truly -vile- but very funny jokes about -every- race and -every- politician, and SNL when it was funny, not trite and dumb. I LOLed when they made fun of Reagan, Dole, Bush, etc. in addition to all the Democrats they used to lambaste equally. I go to 4chan regularly and LOL at the race, ethnicity and nationality jokes tossed out in all directions because they are HILARIOUS. If Obama said that I honestly wouldn't care and go right back to being POd about ACA.

What I can't STAND, though, and tried to make abundantly clear in the post, is 1) endlessly substituting stale, vapid, tedious insults, narratives that are far from funny in the place of ANY policy discussion whatsoever, and THAT is what the LW does here and elsewhere blaring through every one of its 10,000 craptastic media outlets. 2) the hypocrisy of people who can dish it out and can't take it. 3) people who try to make political hay by taking things out of context. I haven't even looked into the whole Dingell quote yet. Will it be a lie of omission like almost every "Trump outrage" I've looked into? Likely, no idea at this point.

Dingell in hell? 4/10 joke, unoriginal. The next fake outrage opportunity though? Puhleeeze.

I just read Dilbert guy Scott Adams' utter debunk and trashing of the Charlottesville "fine people" lie narrative yesterday. I had never looked into it, but HOLY ****, the immensity of that media and LW propaganda chamber lie is egregious. THAT POs me, and it POs people generally far more than it draws any new converts once they find out the truth. Don't -do that- and then howl in outrage at some crap Trump said. Or do and look like Church Ladies. Your choice.

Technically. he is probably right. The overwhelming majority of adults who die probably go to hell.

    Assuming that "Hell" even exists.

Technically, hell is a nasty fantasy and those who die don't go anywhere, because they no longer exist.

Trump is to be taken seriously, not literally. So long as he doesn't get us into stupid wars, and the labor economy is the strongest of our lifetimes, I'm really not interested in trying to police his thoughts or his freedom to express them, even if I don't care for them, and I support your right to do the same.

I liked John McCain a great deal. But Trump (clumsily) had a point in questioning why McCain was regarded as a hero because he was captured and suffered as a POW.

I would much rather honor American soldiers who killed vast numbers of the enemy or destroyed many high value enemy targets rather than the "suffering hero"

Can you link me to your posts expressing your outrage at Mr. Dingell for this tweet?

Dingell wrote the rules. President Trump just plays by them.
