Do we really need additional comments to this? It speaks for itself.

    upload_2018-5-20_16-48-17.png

Ok. I'll comment. Remember Nixon? Do you know what Nixon's greatest crime was? What led him to resign? If you answered that the wiring of the Watergate Hotel, you would be wrong!

No! It was revelations that he had used his powers to get at his political opponents!

But Nixon was smart enough to try to do it in secret. Trump is such an idiot that he does it in a Tweet.

Great thread  In this instance contrast to Nixon / Watergate is actually fitting. Trumps campaign was targeted by the Obama admin., the CIA, and FBI. all bent on preventing kompromat on the heir apparent from going public. or maybe fabricating some kompromat of their own, resorted to illegal surveillance, CIA "contractors" operating on US soil, wire taps and of course perjury. We see all the elements of Watergate, especially now that the cover-up begins to emerge. It was Nixons cabinet, and intel appointees who were indicted, not the opposing candidate who had no federal agencies at his disposal to corrupt, manipulate, and abuse. Obama has avoided Russiagate like the plague, and the reasons are pretty obvious.

Totally agree. Trump is directing the DOJ to investigate his political opponents. He is very afraid.

An FBI informant planted inside the BLOTUS's campaign?

We already KNOW about Carter Page and his ties to the Russians and that is under investigation by the IG. There was no political motivation since Page had been previously watched for the same reason.

However what the BLOTUS is demanding now is ENTIRELY politically motivated and that raises the bar. The IG investigating the Page surveillance should be able to ascertain if there was an FBI informant easily enough IMO. Anything more than that happening is unnecessary.

Hmm, Page was under surveillance at the highest level reserved for foreign terrorists Yet has never been charged with anything.

Your statement is short on facts and long on conspiracy theories. Let me give you 5 facts:
    Flynn pleads guilty
    Papadopouls pleads guilty
    Manafort indicted
    Gates indicted
Manafort and Kutchner met with Russians in Trump tower

“I hereby demand, and will do so officially tomorrow, that the Department of Justice look into whether or not the FBI/DOJ infiltrated or surveilled the Trump Campaign for Political Purposes,” Mr. Trump tweeted on Sunday afternoon, “and if any such demands or requests were made by people within the Obama Administration!”

Let's think about that for a moment. Drumpf is implying members of the Obama admin requested the DOJ/FBI place an informant in to his campaign. In other words, he is suggesting the Obama admin, the executive branch of government, pressured the DOJ/FBI to do something for political purposes.

And what is Don doing? The Drumpf admin, the executive branch, is putting pressure on the DOJ to do something for political purposes.

Don’t worry, if nothing is found, you will claim it’s a conspiracy.

Ah, the hysteria from the left that the actual criminals might be uncovered. The OIG report is coming out and the swamp creatures are going full offensive. Gosh, an investigation into criminal activity is now a ‘constitutional crisis’.

The post contains plenty of facts ... the ones you've not bothered to address. Flynn did plead guilty, and Papadopoulos did too ... guilty of lying to investigators. But not for lying about Trumps involvement. Absolutely no resemblance to Watergate / Nixon at all. Manafort / Gates, tax evasion / bank fraud, also not related to the president or campaign, has no resemblance either. Comey, McCabe, Yates, Clapper, and Brennans conduct, now under criminal investigation, is a fact you may prefer to ignore, but it does remind one of Watergate. Pray Manafort doesn't just plead guilty himself. That would effectively put Mueller out of work. When Ellis rules Mueller hasn't the authority to pursue Manafort, Paul may well negotiate a plea with an honest prosecutor from Treasury or IRS.

Not something I'm worried about. I worry that when Mueller releases his damning report The Following will dismiss it as a conspiracy theory.

Obama, Clapper, Brennan, Yates, and Comey, are not Trumps, or anyone elses political opponents. None are running for office, and none are DNC officials. All of them are republicans aren't they? :frustrated: :roflol: :

That's a bit deceiving. Flynn plead guilty to lying about his conversations with Kislyak. It may be that he has already told Mueller Drumpf directed him to say what he told Kislyak regarding sanctions, indirectly, by telling KT MacFarland what to tell Flynn.

You are losing it. Obama is a Republican now? Trump hasn't made anyone on your list an enemy?

Not deceiving at all. The poster I replied to seemed keen on "facts" but just like yourself he resorted to innuendo ... and his silence suggests he ain't on good terms with "facts" right now. Flynn might have told Mueller Erdogan instructed him to call Kislyak ... or maybe it was Elvis Presley ... Flynn plead guilty to false statements, period.

What was the purpose of the meeting at Trump Tower?

Obama can't run for office ... republican or otherwise. Trump has ordered investigations into criminal misconduct related to illegal surveillance of his campaign. Obviously the perpetrators identified Trump as the "enemy" long before Trump even knew he had any enemies at the FBI / CIA. It was congress, and the IG who discovered the identities of Trumps enemies at the FBI. Now more evidence of criminal misconduct emerges, and so do the same familiar faces. Trump didn't pick his enemies, and their conduct shouldn't be overlooked.
