Former President Donald Trump went hard against Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski at a rally in her home state of Alaska on Saturday, denouncing her as being “worse than a Democrat.”

Campaigning for several candidates in the state, including Murkowski’s challenger Kelly Tshibaka, the former president said Murkowski was a “lousy senator” who hails from the Washington swamp, citing her opposition to Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court and her eventual confirmation of Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson.

“She’s a total creature of the Washington swamp but much worse than that and a tool of a corrupt establishment, the likes of which we’ve never seen. The fake news media loves her,” Trump said….

    T
his Breitbart news coverage of what the former President said during his Alaska visit spelled out exactly what he said very well. He clearly has reasons why he said what he did regarding the Senator. She has betrayed him repeatedly and has not been a good Republican at all. Trump was right to call her out.

News reporter Paul Bois written news report stataing the facts of what Trump said, when he said it where he said it and how he said it is a valid hard news report and is not in anyway Trumps written article nor is it an op Ed from a Breitbart writer. It is a hard news report by a reporter reporting upon what was said on his beat.

Another thing I disagree with Trump about. I don't think ANYthing is worse than a Democrat - except for my ex-boss.

Although that lady needs some moisturizer. Maybe hand her some Suave.

I agree, hopefully the democrat wins. But she’s definitely my 2nd choice!

She may have betrayed Trump - but at least not her country, as Trump did.

It's so ****ing sad that the only thing that matter to MAGA people is Trump - NO politician should be placed on a pedestal that high.

What’s the opinion here? Trump spoke in front of reporters at a public event. Reporters wrote reports about what he said. Trump didn’t write the article and neither did an op Ed writer for Breitbart News. Trumps words when spoken are just as much news to be reported upon as Bidens words are when he speaks in front of reporters. Stop with the stupid, ludicrous and ridiculous notion that whatever biden says is news but whatever Trump says is opinion. That’s blatantly ridiculous on the face of it. Enjoy your censorship when you get your way enforced here….

Trump didn't speak in front of reporters. He spoke to his flock of adorers in Alaska. Again, everything he spoke about are his OPINIONS and not current events newsworthy.

I encourage you to ask the mods for coaching on how to properly post in these forums, you seem confused.

Let’s go Brandon! You know what it’s code for. May all his voters personally feel the worst effects of his recession, stagflation, and high food and gas prices that he’s brought upon us. Biden as s human being and as a President has absolutely zero redeeming values or characteristics

Biden did the one and only thing I voted for him to do, he beat the living hell out of Trump and kicked his traitorous ass to the curb.

    Mission accomplished.

It’s ridiculous to treat any politician as anything other than a public servant. It’s like worshipping a dmv worker or a mail carrier.

Alaska now has this weird election set up - “Following voter approval of Ballot Measure 2 during the 2020 elections in Alaska, this will be the first U.S. Senate election in Alaska held under a new election process. All candidates will run in a nonpartisan blanket top-four primary on August 16, 2022,[1] from which the top four candidates will advance to the general election. Voters will then utilize ranked-choice voting during the general election.[2]”

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2022_United_States_Senate_election_in_Alaska

In the link below you can look at question 7,8 and 9

    https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/polls/stw221frq.pdf

I haven’t the faintest idea what will happen up there in Alaska. The election system up there is just weird. I do however think Trump may have endorsed himself and the GOP out of a majority in the senate. Pennsylvania where OZ vs. Fetterman and in Georgia, Walker vs. Warnock.

    https://www.realclearpolitics.com/e...pennsylvania_senate_oz_vs_fetterman-7695.html

    https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2022/senate/ga/georgia-senate-walker-vs-warnock-7329.html

I think, although plenty of time to prove me wrong prior to November, that the GOP picked the poorest candidates to win the general election in both GA and PA. Both were Trump endorsed candidates. As for Alaska, this new-fangled election system may work in Murkowski’s advantage. Democrats can vote for their candidate in the first round, but then place Murkowski as their second choice as question number 9 seems to show.

The difference is I have no problem saying that Obama was just an average President with a few good moments and some bad ...
but at least he wasn't so crappy that he didn't get reelected ... just say'n.

There were reporters present. They reported on things he said that were news worthy and current. You will see articles reporting upon the things Trump says no matter his chosen forum that are deemed newsworthy by news reporting agencies or broadcast media and like it. If Newsmax or Breitbart wanted to write an op Ed piece they would have done so, they did not. You will respect their judgement on the matter as if they were the WaPo or NYTimes and like it. We are at war here!

Oh I will never respect the judgement of breitfart and fakenewsmax.

Also, everything you stated still does not negate the fact that this OP is clearly another OPINION thread from a twice impeached, one term loser.

I I hope that you enjoy the flood of illegal immigrants, the sky high urban crime rates, the high gas and food prices, the stagflation that are the result. The good thing or silver lining is that these things adversely affect blue states and cities harder and first so they will be the first and often th only to feel the worst impacts of the effect of their vote. They deserve what they have brought down upon themselves. Red states are sheltering in place until Trump returns

I enjoy seeing traitorous trump get his ass kicked and his adoring fans crying every day that he got whooped. These are a few of my favorite things.

be polite walter. what did we learn in crt class in kindergarten? it's "let's go trump."

i think maine has been using a ranked choice system for a few elections. ir should be interesting to see if this works ro the citizen's and the country's advantage or if it is used to entrench the current losers. .

Funny - I live in a Red State, and things are pretty much running normally - business is still strong - gas is expensive, but that's happened before, wasn't
the end of the world then, won't be now - Americans are resilient and 99% are living their lives. It's just the internet drama queens who are
completely freaking out and launching into bombastic rants.

    Whatever - life goes on.

And we are really going to enjoy getting even when we bring him back in 2024. Your side will be running for the snowflake one party forums like democrat underground and dailykos etc. to hide from the celebrations from flyover heartland America. Heck, you all might even burn down your own cities and spike your crime wave in retaliation…
