Correct. It doesn't help your arguments. It simply turns people off.

Actually it is the other way around. We usually (but not always) appreciate Trump reality and abhor Trump haters' fantasies.

I don't lie, and I don't deceive. Why? Because I am a honest person? Well, yes, but also because with this savvy group, I will be caught.

    Check out post #191.

    You are wrong.

"Clinton, based on the latest estimates, got a little more than 27 percent of the voting-eligible population’s vote, while Trump got just 27 percent."

    https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2016/11/10/13587462/trump-election-2016-voter-turnout

The "voting-eligible population" is the electorate.

I'm done with this issue. If Trump cultists can't read, that is their problem.

What "Trump haters' fantasies" are that? Is another Trumpian generalizing again and can't be specific because he is clueless?

I'm betting that he is. He can't define one fantasy provided by me.

How about writing an executive order that violates a court order, then admits it in the order.

The Constitution says the President can be impeached for "high crimes and misdemeanors." The Framers were purposely being non-specific. Being totally incompetent and so naive that he can't perform his duties as President could be made to fit the Framers' vague reasons for impeachment.

Then there is Section Four of the 25th Amendment.

“Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.”

The only problem with Section Four is that we get a wimp for President, Pence. Trump chose the most wimpish man he could find for his veep. The last thing he wanted was a competent rival.

I think if pence got in, you would pray for Trump to return. It is better to live with the devil you have, then deal with the devil you don't know. But they were trying to impeach trump or have the electoral collage cheat to put in Hillary anyways. The left has no ethics. You lost, get over it and aim for 20-20.
The left is even hoping for an economic crash just to get rid of trump. Cutting off their noses to spite their faces.

If you can't understand the fact only 25% of those that could have voted for Trump in no way necessitates that the remainder oppose his policies, your problem runs far deeper than not being able to read.

    I can.
You: Roughly 75% of the American people opposed [Trump's] policies.

And if Trump Won with 27%, Hillary lost with 27%. It shows only 54% matter

The temper tantrum continues while Trump and Republicans are racking up support ,,, because Independents are not crazy about extremists, don't abide temper tantrums and resent Democrats working with Putin to divide the country. Keep it up. A few more haters kicking working people out of restaurants should seal the deal.

Hahahah 3/4 of America opposed Trump? That must explain why he demolished Hillary. Of the people who voted Trump got 27%, of the people who voted in 2012, Obama he got 30%. Your making it seem like the entire country opposes the president, just look around you.

Today, the Republican Party is led intellectually not by the likes of William F. Buckley Jr. and Irving Kristol, but by Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh.[and Fox and Friends]

Consider that Trump’s tariffs are opposed by a remarkable array of scholarly institutions across the political spectrum, including the conservative Heritage Foundation the libertarian Cato Institute , the center-left Brookings Institution and the left-wing Center for Economic and Policy Research. The White House barely offers serious arguments, instead providing a bogus justification for the tariffs — national security — even though China and Russia supply only a small portion of these goods to the United States.

Yeah, demolished by less that 80,000 votes while losing the popular vote to Hillary be nearly three million. One has to be really bad to lose to Hillary.

The most important states, though, were Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Trump won those states by 0.2, 0.7 and 0.8 percentage points, respectively — and by 10,704, 46,765 and 22,177 votes. Those three wins gave him 46 electoral votes; if Clinton had done one point better in each state, she'd have won the electoral vote, too.

Or put another way: But for 79,646 votes cast in those three states, she'd be the next president of the United States.

A recent Gallup Poll shows that 90% of Republicans approve of Trump. https://news.gallup.com/poll/235751/trump-job-approval-tying-personal-best.aspx

What are they approving? His tariffs policy has cause trade wars with China, Canada, Mexico, and the 28 countries of the EU. His summit with Kim Jong Un was no more than a glorified photo op during which Trump gave Kim three major concessions while Kim gave none, his immigration policy is a PR disaster, the White House is in chaos, the turnover rate for members of his staff is over 45%, and even though Congress is controlled by his party, he can't get any major legislation through except the tax bill. Health care is a disaster, and so is infrastructure. He refuses to hold regular press conferences because he is afraid of the White House press corps. He is the first President in 40 years to refuse to reveal his tax returns. He is being investigated by the special prosecutor for collaboration with a hostile foreign power and obstruction of justice.

When his supporters are confronted with these issues, they run and hide, change the subject, make wisecracks, and/or provide cartoons. When faced with real issues, they can't approve of Trump.

So, I ask, what are they approving? His good looks? His sexy First Lady? His bigotry? His xenophobia?

Employment numbers so good that some Hollywood liberals want the employment to crash, want a nuclear war, want to shoot themselves in the foot. What you problem is, you are just so full of hate for trump if he walked on water, you would say he did it because he couldn't swim. There are no issues, he is getting more done in his first couple years than the last three presidents combined. Just a lot of hate because he is sooooo successful.

Employment numbers and the economy are the best in 50 years, you can sleep tonight with a real fear of nukes GONE, he is trying to protect our borders from drugs and illegal alien invaders, he put Gorshec on the supreme court, he is filling literally 50 lower court judges, He became president and not Hillary, He has upset the left so badly that they have lost their minds. The list goes on and on and on.

Hillary and the Uranium deal to start with. You don't get out much or pay much attention to the news, even CNN has posted this stuff.

There are no issues, just crises manufactured by adolescent haters throwing temper tantrums over an election they weren't smart enough to win.

It's always a chuckle to watch Trumpkins describe their cult then offload it all onto someone else. One of their talents. Maybe the only one.
