Trump is cancelling Obama's Cuba deal, speaks out against communism!

Time to shed the oppressive yolk of communism from the Cuban people.

 

See I disagree with this but for different reasons. I think a partnership with Cuba isn't that bad. We have much worse partnerships with Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.

 

Im for this because we aren't "partnering" with Cuba, we are enriching Castro and the communist govt. The lives of the average Cuban are not improved.

They oppress anyone who speaks out.

I don't base my economics on the comfort of their people. If I did, I'd be an isolationist.

I think at the opposite that keeping commercial trade is one of the best way to break a dictatorship. You keep commercial trade => people become richer => they will finally ask for democracy.

 

People becoming richer is fuel for communists who stoke the fire of envy into rage against the wealthy to gain support. Study the Democratic Party platform.

 

If only a little part of the population become richer. If the whole population become richer. Their is a lot of hard working poor people, it's not insane they want the fair share of their hard work.

Nobody care of the slaughters commited by the pro american indonesian governement in eastern timor, nobody care of what the belgian did in Congo, nobody care of the CIA backed Pinochet. Furthermore, USA are not the best placed to comment about genocide. Even if in the end, few countries can really give lessons about genocides.

Anyway, it will not bring back the dead and I don't think a lot of politician really care of either the dead cubans or the alive one. The only thing we can wish for the cubans is to get a stronger economy.

 

Cubans are the "Uncle Tom's" of the Hispanic community as far as liberals are concerned.

In other words, they tend to not vote democrat.

It makes sense, they did risk their lives to escape the commies. Why would they ever vote for what they escaped here?

 

Have you ever read the history of Obama? Assassinating American Citizens as a new form of due process ---- spying on American citizens without probable cause --- sending his NSA Director to lie to Congress, then exiling the patriot who blew the whistle. Did you hear about him slow walking applications to fund free speech he didn't believe in and weaponizing the IRS to attack citizens with whom he disagreed. How about investing a reporter for doing his job?

I wouldn't have blamed free countries for sanctioning Obama's fascist States of America.

 

I don't either but I do have a pretty hard line anti-communist stance. My ex is cuban and I have heard how life is there.
