The vegas odds say Trump is likely to be reelected, my question is will you dems finally let the Russian hoax die or are you all going to keep on for another 4 years and lose the 2024 election. Hillary lost, make peace with it and get over it!!! Will you all finally work on bi-partisan things with Trump or keep obstructing as usual?

The radical side of the dems will never stop obstructing.

The problem is that we don't have earmarks anymore. Ever since we got rid of them, Congress has been a do-nothing organization. The politicians need for pork It is self-evident.

Under an Andrew Yang presidency, he'll bring earmarks back. Then some "sanity" will return to the Congress and this country. Support the Revival of Earmarks

My guess is no, they are taking the Russian hoax all the way down to a fruitless impeachment.

However the good news for Democrats is that demographics are pushing the electorate their way no matter how stupid they get. So the Dems still have a chance in 2020, and an even greater chance in 2024 no matter what they do.

It is their Constitutional duty to have impeachment hearings even if the spineless republicans in the Senate won't do their job. The Constitution doesn't say trump can be impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors, it says he SHALL be impeached. If the evidence suggests that he was obstructing justice, which Mueller fully mapped out, then they are duty-bound to pursue it.

What they are struggling with now is the Constitution imperative vs the political imperative. They know full well that doing the right thing might result in the wrong outcome. Having hearings will only give trump more red meat for his base; if the spineless republicans in the Senate refuse to act no matter how clear the evidence.

The Democrats have a unique problem: 40% of the country doesn't care that trump is a criminal thug and con man.

Thanks the dems for that running a witch like Hillary in the 2016 election and they also have no policy ideas except being for open borders and illegal immigration.

She does not support open borders nor is she pro illegal immigration. But I agree that she was a terrible candidate. I had to hold my nose while I voted for her.

When she made her comment about the idea of open borders, she was talking about some distant day in the future. But of course the nutty right wing liars spin it as something else.

I too would love to see a world where everyone can travel freely anywhere in the world, wouldn't you? It is something to aspire to but not something that could be done today.

While it is most likely as the incumbent always has a significant advantage trumps polling numbers are stagnant since his election at ~44%. His disapproval numbers however have spiked from ~44% when he was elected to an average in mid 50’s.

If he does win he will be the first president in history with two popular vote losses while also being upside down in the polls his entire term. Will be an interesting footnote in future history books.

    upload_2019-6-20_1-31-50.jpeg

As for working on bi-partisan issues, he seems to only care about a wall, Twitter, lowering tax rates on the wealthy and dismantling healthcare. I don’t believe there is much common ground and since the turtle won’t allow legislation to even be discussed unless trump would sign off on it I don’t see it happening.

BTW, almost no one cares about Hillary, most people thought she would be a terrible president but voted for her anyway because trump was the alternative and he still lost the votes of the people. Just imagine trump vs an energetic charismatic family man or woman (non adulterous with no hooker payoffs) with actual principals and values running against him.

No, "The President... shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of..." You are missing and Conviction of part. You know, the Senate part?

I'm Canadian so I have difficulty answering for USA Democrats but.....
I have noticed that the Andrew Yang campaign seems to be the most
positive and upbeat campaign by any Democrat contender so far.

almost spot on, corrected from my perspective.

The Democrats have a unique problem: 40% of the country is annoyed with the left's message that Trump is a criminal thug and con man.

Get over the loss and move on to working for the people like we hired you to do. My candidate lost in the 16 election as well, it took me about 45 minutes to get over it, i'm confused why its so hard for so many others others to do the same. Disclaimer: i'm convinced that only about 3-4 million haven't really gotten over it, but they are being treated like they represent 30-40 million instead of the tiny percentage that they really are. I think the majority that didn't vote for him are indifferent and have moved on.

I do a LOT of traveling, 6 weeks a year minimum. I haven't found a place that I want to visit that I can't freely do so, in case you meant 'travel' to mean "move" then i'll say as well that I haven't found many desirable places where I can just relocate to w/o the proper paperwork and approval.

Sounds very similar to a particular impeachment scenario back in the 90's.

What high crimes and misdemeanors are you referring to?

If Trump wins again, he will do so by appealing to the middle class and the working soemthing democrats have failed to do for the last few years, maybe a decade ago. It's really not hard to appeal to american citizens instead of illegals. What do democrats get out of it by appealing to illegals, I don't know, but it's turning people off.

Pure horse hockey. The dem clown show has a unique problem called TDS. Mueller was not harnessed by the OLC to suggest what laws were broken even if he didn't indict. He didn't but instead inferred questionable issues that can not be proven to be a high crime or misdemeanor in any sense of the word but hey, the dem clown show has been calling for impeachment from the day of the inauguration so...

Yep! Trump seems like he is caught in a time loop. Let us face it. He is not standing and never really has stood on a positive message in that he does best when he can compare himself to an “enemy”. He vilified the Mexican immigrants into an “enemy” so he could tout a wall. He made Hillary into “crooked Hillary (and wasn’t that a pot/kettle message  ) He attacked healthcare and promised “something better”. In other words he is an oppositional politician. Oppositional politicians shine when they have a clear “enemy” but they flounder if they have to stand on concrete positive pathways. This is why he did not announce a plan for healthcare.

Worst for Trump is the fact he has no clear opponent at this stage. This is why he was reduced to attacking Hillary and at that point he lost his audience. People started to leave.

Oh! dear! Where have you been?

Let us just start with the fact he can no longer run a “charity”

Damned right. This is why he is also using the most extreme, ugly language he can come up with to describe the Democrats in general as well. He was claiming in Orlando that they want to "destroy you" (his cult audience) and this country. Same as what he has been doing with the media also. Yes, being the kind of manipulative, depraved demagogue that he is, he is constantly surrounded by fake enemies and is a perennial victim.
