Trump finally won a court case. A constitutional challenge to Trump's continued ownership of his businesses has been ordered dismissed by a federal appeals court.

The case was brought by the attorneys general of Washington, D.C., and Maryland, arguing that Trump had violated the domestic and foreign emoluments clauses of the U.S. Constitution by accepting money from state and foreign governments via his Washington hotel and business empire.

The three-judge panel dismissed the case as being frivolous. All three judges were appointed by Republican Presidents.

This case is not the only emoluments challenge against Trump. Another federal court is still considering a lawsuit brought by Democratic members of Congress.

I have been privately asked why I don't start a new thread about Trump. The answer is, because Trump isn't doing anything, and his ludicrous tweets have become ludicrously boring. No one pays any attention to them anymore. Why should I.

Despite Iran's recent provocations, Trump has done nothing except issue some empty threats and his war hawks (Pompeo and Bolton) are mute. Despite threats from North Korea following his Chamberlainesque visit to North Korea, Trump has maintained his silence. He doesn't want to remind Americans of his betrayal of our national security for a photo op.

For example, remember this moronic threat. "Next week ICE will begin the process of removing the millions of illegal aliens who have illicitly found their way into the United States."

    That was 20 days ago.

It was not going to be "millions." It was going to be a couple thousand. ICE doesn't warn illegal immigrants of a coming raid. Trump told the whole world about it. Trump delayed the raid for two weeks.

Three weeks later, the raid still hasn't happened -- probably because Trump let the cat out of the bag, making the raids useless -- and there is nothing to indicate the raids will ever happen.

That said, ICE probably is keeping Trump out of the loop. They don't want him to warn the immigrants again.

See what I mean? Nothing is happening. I would just as soon Trump kept it that way. He is a walking catastrophe.

The fact that Trump is chummy with communist dictators and is antagonizing our longest, strongest, and most reliable ally for over a 100 years caused no reaction by Trump's supporters.

    Who are these people?

Sir Kim Darroch, the British ambassador resigned Wednesday. He wrote to London describing the dysfunction and chaos of the Trump administration.

Members of the Washington diplomatic corps were asked about the cables, and their response was the same: We wrote the same stuff.

“Yes, yes, everyone does,” Gérard Araud, who retired this spring as the French ambassador, said on Wednesday morning of his own missives from Washington. “But fortunately I knew that nothing would remain secret, so I sent them in a most confidential manner.”

So did Mr. Darroch, who, alone and with Mr. Araud, tried to navigate the minefield of serving as the chief representative of longtime American allies to a President who does not think much of the value of alliances.

Mr. Darroch submitted his resignation the morning after Boris Johnson, who this month is likely to become Britain’s next prime minister, notably declined during a televised debate to defend the diplomat and also refused to criticize President Trump.

Boris Johnson is Trump's double in terms of appearance, mannerisms, and politics. He will soon learn the difficulties of dealing with Trump. Trump does not value the the U.K. as an ally.

Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump is expected to announce an executive action on the US census Thursday, multiple White House officials said.

Whatever you do, Mr. President, keep avoiding the national security threat posed by Iran. Keep pretending the threat will just go away, and concentrate on another empty threat.

Trump doesn't have the balls to challenge a ruling by the Supreme Court. This is just going to be another photo op, another phony show presented by Trump Productions.

    Trump, the showman.

    Trump, the President? Hell, no.

"I am hereby ordering every department and agency in the federal government to provide the Department of Commerce with all requested records regarding the number of citizens and noncitizens in our country," Trump said in a Rose Garden announcement. "They must furnish all legally accessible records in their possession immediately. We will utilize these vast federal databases to gain a full, complete, and accurate count of the non-citizen population."

In other words, this is just another photo op, a show in which his followers can cheer mightily for a victory their hero lost.

The President has complete control over his departments. He routinely gives them orders because that is what he is supposed to do. However, today Trump Productions made a big show of a President doing what he normally does on a daily basis.

Moreover, the order embodies the plans the Census Bureau had announced last year.

    :banana::clapping::roflol:
Trump is a joke. That was a real show he put on today.

    Why is that?

It is because Trumpets are avoiding reality. They are avoiding what Trump does and says because of their inability to defend him, an inability you share.

The next post post provided another unique example of Trump's ineptness.

You are attacking the wrong person. I just report what Trump says and does. Shouldn't you be turning your anger on him?

Trump said recently that the U.S. immigration enforcement agency, ICE, was focused on getting the MS-13 gang out of the United States.

    So, what does Trump do?

He warns MS-13 of the coming raids.

“It starts on Sunday, and they’re going to take people out and take them back to their countries, or they’re going to take criminals and put them in prison or put them in prison in the countries they came from,” Trump told reporters in Washington as he boarded Marine One. “We are really specifically looking for bad players, but we’re also looking for people who came into our country not through a process, they just walked over a line, and they have to leave.”

    Geez, what an idiot.

Trump is likely to lose still another advisor soon. He only wants intelligence that he agrees with.

"Trump has told confidants he's eager to remove Dan Coats as director of national intelligence, according to five sources who have discussed the matter directly with the president."

Coats angered Trump when he appeared to criticize the President's relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin during an on-stage interview with NBC.

He drew Trump's ire again in January when he told a Senate panel that North Korea was unlikely to give up its nuclear weapons, contradicting the Trump's cheerier assessments.

Without our military, we wouldn't be celebrating the 4th of July. Trump did a good job of pointing out how important they are and took us through the history of our country.

He was the first President who ever thought of doing that.

I would say the 4th is more appropriate for a military parade than having them at presidential inaugurations nd both Ike and Kennedy had one, with tanks.

    Quality>Quantity.

Posting random gibberish will only make people question your sanity.

No, what is the purpose of this thread? Quite literally in your own original post you have only photos of people mocking Trump.

There is one photo of someone wearing a MAGA hat and a NASA T-Shirt.

Again. How is this Trump making a fool of himself, exactly? The actions of one person don't apply to someone else.

I'm not sure Trump's multiple statements about love letters between himself and Kim Jong Un rise to the level of fool. Perhaps, insane would be more appropriate.

    Love letters? Don't kid yourself.

Would you rather North Korea have nukes? Because from the looks of it, you'd prefer them to be a threat to everything around them, including the US, as opposed to giving the man some credit for making history in dealing with North Korea.

Trump criticized Mueller for not including the text messages of the two FBI lovebirds.

Trump reacted to a tweet alleging that Mueller’s office may have participated in a "cover-up" (???) by deleting texts between former FBI officials Lisa Page and Peter Strzok.

“This is one of the most horrible abuses of all,” Trump tweeted. “Those texts between gaga lovers would have told the whole story. Illegal deletion by Mueller. They gave us ‘the insurance policy.’”

Is this a joke? I'm sure Trump meant this as humor. He couldn't possibly be serious.

    Or ... he's losing it.

Communist dictators understand power and strength. They regard pandering as a weakness to be exploited.

Kim, with the assistance of Putin and XI, Trump's other two buddies, is taking advantage of Trump. He is playing Trump like a fiddle, and the weak, naive Trump plays right along not knowing the harm he is doing.

Trump needs to be the star, and for sure he is. That is all that matters to Trump, the show, the photo op.

And, yes, he is making history, but that is not necessarily a good thing. Neville Chamberlain made history at Munich. The result? The worst war in the history of mankind.
