On a day when we had yet another synagogue shooting in San Diego Ca. From the alt-left New York Times, a terrible antisemitic cartoon. Absolutely disgusting. This is the same paper of record that downplayed the Holocaust during WWII.

Is it anti-Semitic, I dunno. I think terms like that are thrown around way too easily. People think we are being blindly led around by Israel. I disagree, but consider this a legitimate means to express that belief system. I don't see how it in any way denigrates the Jewish people.

did he ever rip his father saying people chanting "blood and soil, jews will not replace us" are fine people?

until the Trump admin, I had no idea white nationalist hated Jews so much? why?

unlike Charlottesville, Trump called this attack today a hate crime, so maybe the Trump family is turning against white nationalists finally

Try posting a cartoon with Biden walking a black man and you'll see what's wrong with this.

most people see it as wrong, what was off was the Trump's son noticing it was wrong after the "fine people" comments in Charlottesville, or the skittles nonsense

In the cartoon it is actually Netanyahu leading DT. Seems like too many of us are just looking for something to be offended by. And throwing out the racist card tends to destroy legitimate conversations. I see zero racist motivations behind this cartoon.

Yeah keep taking that post completely out of context after you've been shown numerous times just how wrong you are.

the religious symbolism made it about religion though - anti-Thiest or anti-Athiest political cartoons are wrong

The symbol in no way denigrates Judaism. It is just there to help identify Israel.

I am sure the intent was not there, but I can see how it would offend some

I know it gets confusing as the religion and their government mix, theocracies see this as blasphemy because of that

This cartoon is in keeping with Islamic extremist and neonazi thinking.

I don't see it as antisemitic unless I'm missing something.

I tend to agree but if the shoe were on the other foot and a conservative posted anything like this the left would lose their mind. They have for less.

I do not either, but I can see how those that see the government as a Jewish Government see anyone criticizing it's leaders as if it were an attack on the religion, so best to avoid adding religion symbols to cartoons like this imo as that enforces the belief it's about the religion

it's kinda like attacking the Pope is seen as an attack on Catholicism

Huh? I said Islamic extremists and neonazis hold the view suggested by the illustration.

Well yes, obviously; and no thinking person would have to have the offensiveness of the cartoon explained to them. The problem, though with generic leftist comprehension of such things is the iron rule of the Left that interferes with the process; that is . . . It is NEVER wrong when the Left does it; period.
