"Donald Trump Jr. opened up his father’s rally in El Paso, Texas, on Monday night, and after noticing some young people in the crowd, made a comment that has caused a bit of a stir."

“I love seeing some young conservatives, you don’t have to be indoctrinated by these loser teachers that are trying to sell you on socialism from birth."

    https://thehill.com/blogs/blog-brie...conservatives-dont-get-indoctrinated-by-these

I think what Junior was attempting to say, if anyone disagrees with what my daddy says they are "losers" and don't believe anything they say

"Loser teachers," now there's an good look for the GOP and Trump heading into 2020, labeling teachers as "losers"

You quoted it but you stopped reading.

ndoctrinated by these loser teachers that are trying to sell you on socialism from birth."

Anyone loving the idea of socialism is an idiot.

It is in the quote I included, "trying to sell you on socialism from birth."

The point isn't about socialism, but rather this dimwit labeling teachers he has never seen as "losers." Never been a teacher, but having sat thru "bring a parent to school day" I'd guarantee Junior couldn't last a couple of hours with a high class of forty five

Everyone loves socialism, the only question is how much of it do we want.

It's just more of the same old tired "Schools are indoctrination centers narf narf narf" nonsense.

Every place that teaches you something is an "indoctrination center". Churches, private and religious schools, clubs, private organizations, radio and TV stations, websites. Hell even department stores indoctrinate you into materialism.

So is the war REALLY against "indoctrination centers", all of them, or is this just another situation where a boogieman is hand-picked based on personal bias?

Exactly, socialism has been part of America since the 19th Century, if not before, every nation in the world is part socialist, part capitalist, they all have mixed economies

The right wing media for political purposes has conservatives believing all socialism is a path to Venezuela

Indoctrination is exactly what schools are doing. Anyone who can't see it isn't looking or doesn't want to see it.

People bring up Venezuela as its current and Sanders could praise it higher up until a few years ago.

The same difference as being home and halfway home. The destination is the same, its just a matter of how far they get.

The same difference between a bucket with a small hole it in, or one with a larger hole in it.

    It's too late.

Left-leaning states have been importing stupid people from other countries that are easy to indoctrinate.

You really think Mexico is sending the U.S. their "best and brightest" ?

Take California, for instance. Only a relatively small minority (maybe 30%) of the population are radical Liberals, but they have a huge (Hispanic) minority voting bloc.
As a result, that 30% has secured a stranglehold on the state government.

No, not even close, what Americans who are supporting socialist programs want is what the rest of the world calls social democracy, a market economy but with checks to temper the excesses of a capitalism, a strong safety net, and a progressive taxation policy to address inequality. That is a fry cry from taking over the factors of production or nationalizing major industries
