    They were banned by obama, brought back by Trump, and banned again by another democrat. So clearly now we will only get fireworks over Mt. Rushmore on the 4th of July when there’s a Republican President.

    When ever you bring that up we bring up the democrat riots, looting, insurrections, vandalism of monuments, and violence from late May 2020 on in so many large cities.

    They only happened one year under Trump...so he did not really "bring them back" as you claim.

    And that one year he only allowed them because he used the event as a campaign rally.

    Maybe.... but I feel while the T****ista losers want to spend all day bitching about how their holiday is being cancelled, the rest of us will spend the day celebrating and enjoying it... Today's high in VA for 7/4 is only 82, with low humidity.... Amazing!

    I would have gone to the rally, it was only 50 miles from here but I had to work, I work tonight too. My job comes first.

    Trump allowed fireworks once, as far as I know, against the advice of the parks service.

    As I said, the ban on fireworks has nothing to do with the Fourth of July. It has everything to do with forest fire risk and the devastating effects of pine beetles.

    But you go ahead and peddle your false outrage based on lies.
