    He's right - it won't be cancelled or purged from history or our heads. I'm not sure why that's a headline. I don't know anyone - right, left or center - who want that to happen.

    The beef is the RW cannot find anything that'll cause anybody is dislike this guy....

    Also, don't bring up beef or somebody is sure to bring up the faux BIDEN BEEF BAN....

    As far as I can tell, Joe is embracing our current holidays and even gave some a new one to celebrate/memorialize... All is good on the holiday front in the USA...

    It's a set-up. All of the CRT and Project 1619 stuff, was first brought up by people on the extreme right and Trumpees (e.g. Matt Gaetz). That was to set the stage for Trump's rally, suggesting to his audience that the CRT and Project 1619 (neither of which are threats to the country) are forerunners to "cancelling the cultural" celebration of July 4th. He plays, particularly in the South, to a racist base. And, no, not all southerners are racist.

    He also admitted that taxes weren't paid on the Weisselberg benefits with the argument that we shouldn't have taxes on such benefits. Hahahahaha. An admission that The Donald obeys only the laws he agrees with? The man is delusional and taking down what's left of the Republican Party. Let him rant and rave.

    Incidentally, Trump may have already reached settlements with the IRS. Such would be "confidential" - i.e. Trump could announce them, but not the IRS unless they took him to court.

    Not sure what you mean? The IRS's principal task is to collect money for the Treasury Department, not really to put people in jail, which usually makes it MORE difficult to collect what they owe. Consequently, they have wide prosecutorial discretion. Who knows? Trump may have struck a deal with them to uncover other tax evaders?

    Sorry, my MO is to bold the section of your post I am choosing to respond to....

    I'm saying there is no choice by anybody but to let him rant and rave.... It's all he knows and nobody can (or will) stop him from doing so..

    I'm mostly good with your analysis of the IRS's role here, although I highly doubt they would have "struck a deal" with T**** to uncover "other" tax evaders... He's the big fish here, not the bait....

    I think their primary gripe for this 15 minutes is Kristi "Stepford" Noem wasn't allowed to shoot off fireworks at a federal site that just happens to be in her state....

    As has become the norm....

    But it's always possible T**** is talking about some other fake injustice... who the hell cares anymore?

    It was a great 4th and South Dakota is not on fire..... All is Well....
