They did nothing to stop him while he still had only a conventional arsenal

Now he has the nukes which is a much tougher problem

The problem with this logic is that it is akin to praising an arsonist for putting out his own fire.

And NK has been sanctioned. Are you saying we should have done military strikes? So in one breath you call the left "war mongers" and in the other you say we should have gone to war? Which is it? I wish you guys would make up your minds and stick with it.

Ha ha. And this is just how loony tunes partisanship has become.

I am convinced partisans are mentally ill, in some manner. And that is all that explains it for me, their attitudes.

No one is making fun of Trump for trying to make peace.

We are making fun of Trump for trying to make peace in a manner that nearly every expert predicted was doomed to fail from the beginning while simultaneously giving North Korea precisely what it wanted in exchange for nothing.

Obama never met Kim because Obama was smart enough to recognize that meeting him, as equals, on the world stage without getting concrete concessions was precisely what the North Koreans wanted...

Saying "not one shred of evidence" over and over does not make the statement any more accurate than the last 20 times you said it.

Better a conventional war with NK than a nuclear strike against US cities

But now it appears that kim can reach the US thanks to the last three US presidents before trump

I blame the euros too for this mess

What did Kim get exactly, a photo op?
Guess what, when he returns home, he’s still going to be in charge of a nation crippled by sanctions.

As you were so discerning of character on the Smollett issue? Perhaps your pride blinds you? I mean you start with 'I acknowledge its the thorniest issue in the world' then you say 'but I expect results in the first meeting or two or you're a failure'. Pick a lane.

They were lobbing missiles at Japan the entire time. They just finally got one to work that could reach.

Dude... You're talking about the guy who LITERALLY put out propaganda that he had sent astronauts to walk on the sun and they had been able to do so because glorious leader cleverly deduced that it would be safe if they went at night. I don't think he actually needs real footage to say whatever he'd like. Nor would any footage to the contrary ever be shown in NK nor if it did would it have any effect. The man has a technocracy ( ie those who serve him get access to technology not available for the average pleb) ruling over people who are kept at the level of medieval peasants. If you're not going to go Clausewitz style total war on them to fix that, you're going to have to let that sort of thing go. Are you willing to go Clausewitz style total war on them as it stands right now? That's a hard yes or a hard no. Please inform the class of your answer Counsel.

Again: You're looking at it from a Western standpoint, which is foolish when dealing with people from the East. The cultural differences are stark and far reaching. You ever done any negotiations with high power people from the East? Big businessmen, land owners etc? They don't move fast. They move at a glacial pace. And that's on a ****ing land deal dude. Not something that if they handle it wrong could end up with le glorious revolution where they get strung up like Qaddafi or assassinated by a flunky.
You expect 60 years of stonewalling only ever breached with giveaways of tech and sundries upon bad behavior to evaporate in 2 meetings? Yes or no. Would you expect a bratty child to reform entirely upon only instances of being disciplined? Has that been your experience then?

As if that affects him or his family and friends in any real way.

Meanwhile that "photo op" absolutely affects him, his friends and family in a very real and substantial way. His authority is built on propaganda and now they have non-manufactured propaganda of the leader of the most powerful country in the world saluting and praising him and his generals.

So you are saying there should have been another Korean war. Got it. Who's the war monger now?

so what did NK get? sanctions are still in place
walking away from a negotiations shows that you aren't willing to give up the farm for a deal
a no deal is belter then a bad deal like the bad deal Obama got with Iran because Obama wasn't willing to walk away from a bad deal to show Irian he wasn't willing to give up the farm
Obama obsession for a deal no matter how bad it was showed weakness and Iran took advantage of that weakness

You are in the minority, even if I limited the population to ISRAELIS, who believe that the Iran deal was a poor deal.
