<THREAD TITLE EDITED TO MATCH LINKED ARTICLE>

    The chorus is growing.

"Stop Golfing and Concede." Tweets Republican Governor Larry Hogan.

This is one of the finest things I've ever read on Twitter.

The thrust of the article is that Trump is damaging the GOP's chances to maintain control of the house by fracturing their support across his anvil of denial.

His complete lack of discipline haunted his presidential campaign, and his venal fragile ego will haunt his legacy. What will it take for people to finally recognize what he has always been?

He had a great 4 years. Outperforming Obama while spending less.

    he will be remembered well.

The families of the 250,000 victims of the pandemic and the 12 million newly unemployed warmly thanked him on November 3.

What planet do you live on?

If socialism is for you the intervention of the state in the economy, Trump is by far the most communist POTUS in the history of the country.

There will be other "Rinos" like Christie who will show up between now and January 20th.

Afterwards, when Trump will no longer have any power of coercion over the Republican troops, it will be revolt.

Trump will become public enemy #1 among the Conservatives.

I think Trump will become more powerful than ever once he leaves the whitehouse. He may not have presidential powers but he will still have his massive following that clings to his every word. I think Trump will finally become the billionaire he has always bragged to be.

Only Americans under Trump died to the pandemic folks, remember that.

The amount of crazy packed in to such few syllables is actually kind of remarkable.

If Trump had shown any discipline, he would have won this election. Had he shown any deference at all to science and just chosen to wear a mask instead of treating his face like a 1980's beach muscle, he would have won. He's 95% correct that there is literally *nothing* he could do that would cause his base to abandon him.

He could have run on his undeniable achievement of utterly reshaping the judicial branch for the next generation.
He could have run on the undeniable achievement of "Warp Speed."
He could have shown some discipline in his campaign.

Instead, he lost. And now he's doing his level best to steal an election.

LOL wishful thinking at its worst.

A politician whose crowds cause envy among rock stars and whose 75 million supporters scream "we love you" don't face a revolt and don't become public enemy #1, they become legends and martyrs. You think Trump was the libs' worst nightmare 2016-2020. You ain't seen nothing yet, regardless of whether he is reelected or not.

I have a feeling when we are at war with China and Russia and struggling through another great depression that people might actually miss Trumps tweets.

There is nothing more ephemeral than glory.

The overwhelming majority who voted for Trump are not fanatical supporters like you.

Trump's downfall began on November 3rd and is far from over.

Hmmm, sounds like some repubs have benefited from crooked elections and are afraid of getting caught. Who else is barking?

The glory of a president who completely destroyed 2 political dynasties, completely redefined one party into the party of the working class, drove the other party completely insane and exposed it as globalist anti-american, election-stealing, fascism-practicing swamp, the glory of such president is sustainable for centuries. Lest we forget that he is just getting started and even you deep in your heart are totally terrified of the damage he'll cause to the swamp, the fake news and the Dems in the next 4 years.

    Yes, of course.

There was a time when the Germans believed that the Reich would last a thousand years.

The beauty is that Biden is there to continue the work Obama was doing and restore what they did.

When they take the Senate, they can pack the SC and turn this around for a generation.

The OP doesn't get it. The folks who support Trump have figured out what the establishment is all about. That was a lesson Bernie learned the hard way but he did profit from it.

Those who believe a career politician like Biden will deliver what they want are living in a dream world. Biden is a used car salesman who has sold America a lemon presidency. He will be too busy biking foreign interests for cash than to do much else. Oh he will pretend he is doing something but in reality he will be lining his pockets with cool cash.

With Biden's second term, Americans will have chosen a Democrat to lead the country 16 years out of 20.

    That means something.
