Okay, I put this in "Current Events" because it is a current event.

I specifically refer to this, tweeted by Trump:

Let's look at that and drill down to what it really means.

    Inarguably it means this.

It is the view of Trump, that if the Supreme Court delivers a decision striking down one of his proposals, it is not because (in the view of Trump) that his proposal was unlawful as the Court determined.

Instead, the Court struck it down, knowing it to be lawful, but in an act of judicial, corrupt perversion, struck a lawful proposal down....BECAUSE THE SUPREME COURT DOES NOT LIKE HIM.

He has gotta go Team GOP.

What other rationale is there???? One of my thoughts is that it wasn't so much that Roberts dislikes Trump as it is because Roberts feels obligated to protect our first black president's legacy. Just a thought; what else do you have?

Well, if you read Roberts' response, it was because team Trump went about it in an unlawful way. And this isn't the first time. So instead of whining 'they don't like me', why doesn't he actually look inward and see that if he'd done better work, he would have had the ruling he wanted. After the first time, why didn't he actually take the time to do things right?

Doing things the right way -- which is not the same as "lawful" -- is strictly in the mind of the beholder, Roberts. Justice Thomas said it well in his dissent that if an Executive Order overturns another EO that was unlawful and unconstitutional, that is all the rationale, requirements and procedures that is necessary or required.
