Call it classified all you want, I call it the truth. And the people deserve to know the truth. They claim it's kept so our enemies don't know, I say let them know, what are they going to do anyways. And wars or fighting for the country, will be on the side of truth, and determined by leadership and citizenry.

Wrong. There is a major difference between a media site alleging something and the government CONFIRMING something.

Can you keep a secret ? Once a secret is exposed it's no longer a secret is it ?

The Supreme Court has already ruled (N.Y. Times vs.Unites States)

If the classified information exposes corruption or lies being told by the government, the press and MSM can aid our enemies by publishing classified information.

Beats the hell out of me...that what liberals believe.

I agree more work needs to be done, -since we're likely never to be rid of Gov't meddling in healthcare in any reasonable, constructive way, - to bring a better realization of Trump's promises.

From my POV, this is Trump's version of "If you like your plan..... If you like your doctor...".

Free-market health already failed here and there are no examples of it ever working anywhere!

I was in health care in the 80s and saw people turned away at the ER door. Back then, America was still a place where allowing people to die in the streets right in front of a hospital, or while waiting in the ER for service that would never come, for lack of insurance, was not acceptable, so the government stepped in.

How about the nearly 40 million without insurance now. To hell with them, right?

I'd posted somewhere, may have been this thread, what my position would be for healthcare betterment. I'll go off cuff.

A simple expansion of Medicare, allowing Medicare to negotiate prescription, & medical equipment costs, tax incentives for healthcare savings accounts, & allowing for straight forward insurance purchases across state lines. Add tort reform to the mix, & I think we can start from there.

Why would anyone put life in competition with profit? How is that going to turn out EVERY time?

The President can declassify any information that he wants. But I doubt this was a leak. A "leak" would imply that he was telling the truth to begin with, as opposed to just pulling something directly out of his ass, which is his normal MO. Remember the last time he "leaked" classified information from the CIA? He invented a video that didn't exist and had to back-peddle later.

That's all great but it REQUIRES that government be involved. There is no non-government solution to the crisis in health care, which did in fact start in the early 80s. I was there. I watched health care change from patient based, to profit based.

One of the biggest drivers of medical costs is the paperwork required by the insurance companies. One nurse who was about to retire told me that when she started, 80% of her time was patient care, 20% paperwork. Now it's almost exactly the opposite - 80% of her time was spent on paperwork and 20% on patient care.

Putting the patient first I agree needs to happen. LOL, The ACA is far from that! It puts the Insurance Co.'s first... That's not working out too well..

Since the Gubmint is IN this mess anus deep now, it will be next to impossible to remove them now. That's a given.

Wrong! Wikileaks does not have the legal power to declassify anything. Regardless of what wikileaks might say, the information was still classified before Trump blurted it out.

We believe that Donald Trump is not a member of the press. He's the President. I haven't watched the news today yet, so I can still hope that your point is that we're wrong about that.

You also forgot that I denounced him twice. I even did a once public video thrashing Trump(in reality, I should've been thrashing the ACORN thugs currently running rampant in Berkley lol.). Ask other Nationalists and they'll tell you Trump wasn't my first or second choice.

I didn't whine about something I don't like. Merely made a suggestion, so you don't have to be so unhappy.

The fact that the CIA can be hacked and has been hacked is not a secret.

“The documents they accessed included the sensitive 47-page SF-86 application that Brennan had filled out to obtain his top-secret government security clearance. Millions of SF86 applications were obtained recently by hackers who broke into networks belonging to the Office of Personnel Management.” WIRED, TEEN WHO HACKED CIA DIRECTOR’S EMAIL TELLS HOW HE DID IT, AUTHOR: KIM ZETTER, SECURITY DATE OF PUBLICATION: 10.19.15. 10.19.15.

    It is just old news.

American intelligence is only concerned about keeping secrets from the American people. Bored teenagers can hack our intelligence community at will.

"CIA Tango Down" read the posting, using US special forces terminology for killing an enemy.
Jennifer Youngblood, a CIA spokeswoman, said on Friday night: "We are aware of the problems accessing our website, and are working to resolve them."

Anonymous claimed responsibility for shutting down the homepages of the Department of Justice and FBI last month in retaliation for the US government closing the controversial Megaupload filesharing websites.

Alabama state and Mexican mining company websites were also hacked on Friday. Web pages linked to Anonymous claimed responsibility for both attacks.

Earlier this month, a conference call between Scotland Yard and the FBI on tacking computer hacking was intercepted and published by a member of the Anonymous group.” UK TELEGRAPH, CIA website hacked in attack 'claimed' by shadowy cyber group Anonymous, By Philip Sherwell, New York

You are falling back on an old liberal tactic, saying crap I never said. I never said that Wikileaks declassified any classified documents.

But once Wikileaks or the New York Times publishes "secret" or "classified" information and the entire world of people who aren't low information reads it. it's no longer much of a secret.

What you fail to understand is that there is a major difference between some leak or media report and the President saying it.
    A. He was stupidly repeating something he read...in which case he's simply a buffoon.
    B. He was repeating something he was told in a classified briefing without doing the proper vetting as to what damage that might cause.

Since he didn't let us know whether he was just being a buffoon we're left with him releasing classified information.

Are YOU claiming he's simply a buffoon?

I watched the news today. When some German news reporter questioned President Trump on "Towergate" and Trump's tweeting, Trump told the German to eat sauerkraut and take it up with "Fox" that all he did was to quote Fox News, Judge Andrew Napolitano.

    Here's what the judge said.

He's reckless and he hasn't got a clue. It's some of the many reasons he can't and hasn't been doing this job. He's a screw up at every turn.
