Yeah if we're going to give away tons of money in foreign policy we should stick to doing things like funding gender studies in Nigeria with our tax dollars....

Personally I don't think the squad is doing it because they are America First or care about our debt.
I would like to see cut backs across the board. We don't have the money. I think they would be okay with America have more

How long are the democrats going to run Tales From the Crypt in their leadership?
If the the republicans shift now, they can return us to a more moderate right and save our country from the crazy left. If they want to keep the same old same old, they will lose.

So ironic. Trump's only enduring legacy (other than having turned the silent biggots who support him into loud biggots) is his nomination of three supreme court justices. Two of which are directly the result of Mitch Mcconnell's actions. Barring the Obama nomination 'too close to election' and then ramming a justice through 'too close to election' gave Trump two nominations. He should be thanking Mcconnell every day.
Trump's greatest accomplishment is in fact Mcconnells. Oh. Now I understand why Trump hates him...

I'm just trying to put words to the grotesque visual experience that is Donald Trump. With his mouth open.

I've said it repeatedly that trump is a malignant narcissist. On top of that, he's sadistic and takes pleasure in demeaning others.
The one saving grace for us is that he is he is rather dumb because he's so self absorbed and, like all bullies, a coward at heart.
He's the walking example of John Lennon's song, Crippled Inside.

I read that, but in the Senate is where Trump's influence wans fast. He is certainly free to try, but it is unlikely he will be able to unseat McConnell at this time.

The squad does not dictate Israel military systems deployments. No one in the US does that.

There is another article where it stated this is a technical political procedure. This is about finding, not deployment.

We agree that Trump can never get McConnell out.

But does he still have any tangible influence on GOP elected officials or is he just trying to keep the focus on him?

Because Trump is still in the news almost daily.

In the last 10 days, he's reacted to the Milley case, he sent a letter to desertify the Georgia results, he's trying to take down McConnell, and this morning he filed a defamation suit against his niece.

    The guy is busy.

The Iron Dome is USA Technology and I don't think we are giving over the drawings and programs even to Isreal, so yes we are a part of the deployment of such systems.

And it's no coincidence that the country is going to **** with them in power.

As for the billion to Israel, let their taxpayers pay for their own defense...enough of these welfare handouts. US taxpayers shouldn't be paying for ANY foreign country's debts.

I can think of many things billions in foreign aid could do for the US...like sealing the border....which is a national security issue.

And McConnell is garbage. No wonder Democrats want him to stay leader.

Not if you speak to those who've golfed with him. Players don't enjoy a day on the links with cheaters.

I remind myself daily that the Jan 6th seditious conspiracy is still travelling at high velocity in the Trump "politicians" as they are tipping the voting playing field. If this is even allowed to succeed, it will change America for a long time. They simply cannot be given a second bite of the corruption apple.

    Dude, that's seriously weird.

He is appealing to the so called "evangelicals" while "signaling" to the Nazi wannabees. Having it both ways.

This is exactly who Trump is. It makes him very dangerous and destructive if unchecked.

How is this news? How many times have the Democrats tried to depose Pelosi as speaker of the house?

Yeah his ego is insatiable. I would prefer he fade away, but that is clearly not happening. There is another poster who does have good posts about how independents are key for Trump's success. As of now, Trump doesn't do well with independents, so as usual, it all depends on the nominated candidates and the mid terms will be a good litmus test.

Yes and no. Besides the Prez, the heads of the House and Senate are the real drivers of policy.
What got Trump elected and what drives his popularity is he is a throwback to the “Old Time Democrat” that created the democrat party: “America and American workers first”
Those democrats of that era would not have sold our soul to China, they would not have ignored our borders in order to let cheap labor in to gut worker’s economic future.
He avoided wars because it is the middle and lower classes who do the dying, and secondly to focus America on the challenge of China as a completely unprincipled world competitor.
The democrats are now the party of the rich “big data” monopolies, and more importantly the party of national and individual irresponsibility.

I agree we don't need to help them but this isn't the same as making it harder for Israel. It's just not helping them.

Things like this can come with requirements to advance the peace talks.

I fully agree with Trump. McConnell has been a charter member of the swamp for far too long and has been devastating to conservative principles and politicos. What do you mean "A fratricidal war within the GOP couldn't come at a better time"? Did you miss the internecine GOP war that began in 2016??

Congrats, Mitch. You had it in your hand to depose of Trump once and for all during his second impeachment trial in the Senate. Even though you verbally found him guilty, you were too chicken to convict. Now, you have to lay in the bed that you made. In a fight between you and Trump, I know where I would put my money. We already see that the Trumpers are starting to call you a RINO and a deep state elitist. This will have no good ending for you. It couldn't have happened to a more deserving guy. Being brought down by your own dirty politics....
