I quoted the one I responded to. It was way back there and only similar claims before it. But I'll accept your apology anyway.
I believe we have been over this — dementia maybe? You should look into that. I do not have the power to impeach him, I only have the power to vote against him (and then have my vote weighted based on my geographical location). So no amount of “daring me to try” will allow me to do anything. The inquiry is underway but that committee must walk a dangerous tightrope of triggering trump’s cult like base. How do you impeach a president when blatant misdeeds are not just ignored — but applauded — by a sizable portion of America?
It's not an emolument to Trump and was in practice before he took office. It's a good rate. It is convenient and a nice place to stay. I'm sure some get a round of golf in too.
Read this, it was something Obama set up. https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=http...uSYucwik-Wu_emtP_zdwaEoJVJKhiqyoyoc01QCtS2PAU
Which is why trump should have divested from his company or at minimum placed it into a blind trust. He refused after generations of presidential norms. Every action he does will always be suspect especially when there is a potential profit motive — or even the appearance of one.
He is not running it and has nothing to do with military personnel staying there. Carter put the Carter peanut farm into a blind trust, how'd that work out?
Try again The Air Force and Trump Turnberry About that tempest in a Scottish tea cup: Consider it debunked. The Air Force on Friday released its official review of the matter, a 30-page report by the Air Mobility Command. Push past the jargon, and it’s pretty clear: “The data collected during this review convincingly confirmed that patterns across the 2015-2019 timeframe conform to use on the basis of operational military necessity.” To dig in a little deeper, Scotland’s Prestwick Airport, which sits about 20 miles from the Trump Turnberry, is often preferred for operational reasons: It runs 24/7, with no quiet hours. It has long runways and fewer weight restrictions. Diplomatic clearances are easy to get from the United Kingdom, even for missions carrying hazardous cargo, and the weather is better than at other airfields in Britain. From the beginning of 2015 through this August, 659 aircrews that went through Prestwick stayed overnight. Of the 545 for which paperwork was available, 77% slept in local hotels, and 17% stayed in Glasgow. A mere 6% went to the Trump Turnberry, and “only after other locations closer to the Prestwick Airport were determined to be unavailable based on the requirements of the aircrew.” Six of these crews lingered more than 24 hours, all of them delayed by maintenance or operational issues. https://www.wsj.com/articles/the-air-force-and-trump-turnberry-11572209282
