So now you think it is "fanatical" to have libertarian values? Weird. I kinda thought valuing the 1st Amendment was cool. I thought valuing economic conservatism was cool. I thought valuing the Constitution, overall was cool. And those are the reasons I didn't like Trump. But now, according to you, thinking this things are cool is "fanaticism." Here is a post I wrote pertaining to the election fraud thread. Starts with "election fraud deniers"... Is this a post from a Trump-republican shill? This is a post from a real centrist and civil libertarian not some fanatical Trump hater.

You have to admit he was not the best president and caused irreparable damage to our second amendment with the bumpstock ban and the precedent he set to do so. That very same tactic is now being used by Biden.

I would argue he’s better than Biden but there is no way he’s better than Nikki Haily, or Rand Paul, or mike Lee, or any true conservatives on that list. I would never vote for Trump again. I hardly think he’s worth our vote.

 

You can't be a "real centrist" and "civil libertarian" without hating Trump, seen as Trump hates both those things. Sorry. Meanwhile, I advocated 3rd party in the last election and advocated investigations of Biden. Guess you will just have to keep making up bull **** about shills since you have nothing of any actual substance. Did you ever find any of my posts advocating for the "mandate" bull **** that you made up?

 

I've said negative things about Biden. Kamala is pretty irrelevant, but if you want me to say negative things about here as well, happy to do so.

 

Anyone who is in favor of higher taxes, COVID era restrictions, and COVID era policies, or democrat gun control or universal healthcare is no libertarian. When they use that word to explain their position yet you find them supporting any of those arguments they are lying to themselves about their own political affiliation

I haven't supported higher taxes and have only advocated for private property COVID restrictions. I'm to the right of Trump on gun control and, unlike Trump, have never pushed for universal healthcare. I'm used to Starcastle misrepresenting ****, but not you.

 

I wasn’t necessarily misrepresenting you I was addressing how often the libertarian views are used as a scapegoat to get out of tough conversations. I should have elaborated a bit more. Private property regulations during COVID was not a high point in private property rights. I recall both Trump and Biden banning evictions. I also recall local municipalities banning rights of business to open up and also making restrictions they must follow during starting back up. Obviously both sides done this to one side or the other.

Not that I'm going to prioritize this over policies and positions, but it would be nice to have a President who could actually convey a professional demeanor. 45 and 46 are definitely low points as far as that goes, and Haley would crush it on that front. She's the sort of person I'd trust to actually walk into a room, well-prepared, and know what she is doing. Plus I had a daydream of a biopic with her played by Angie Harmon and now I can't get it out of my head.

 

I must ask though… Why libertarian? Why not constitutionalist if you go third party?

They are a little too socially/religiously conservative for my tastes. Just not my thing in those regards.
