    President Trump is a genius. He does the opposite of what the dems and the media say. This will certainly shore up his support with women voters.

    What will the democrats do now? Are they going to try to block a woman from the Supreme Court? Are they gonna risk being seen as the misogynist party against women? Are the going to react with violence to a woman nominee as some have already promised will happen? Are they gonna dig up dirt and false allegations against her like they did to Cavanaugh?

    I think it would be awful sexist for them to stop a strong, independent, capable woman from obtaining the most important job in the land. Or to even try.

    I’m sure democrats alrdy paid someone to claim it happened. They will have to make sure it’s not a white male whonwas raped though, that would garner no sympathy. But a trans or something, now that will generate that outrage.

    This appointee's gender has absolutely no bearing on how Democrats will respond to confirming a Justice. If you think it's supposed to then you've really misread the room.

    Ok, didn't Trump say in 2016 that we should wait until the election to nominate a justice? And didn't he attack the idea of Biden picking a VP based on gender? It sounds like Trump is just another two-faced politician now.

    And didn't the Dems praise Biden to the hilt for doing so? It seems they should be praising Trump now as well.

    It also sounds as if the Dems - and their supporters - meet that description also.

    I don't care. We did what we had to for America. Why should we let democrats put people like RBG who hate the Constitution on the Supreme Court? Worst pick since democrats put KKK judge Hugo Black on the court

    The difference is that the female justice will be way more qualified to sit on the bench than Kamala Harris as our VP.

    Kamala shouldn't even be the Californian Senator let alone VP.
