    This will be all over the news tonight. Trump is having a special event at the White House. He is putting up victims who are all clearly being coached to say "permanent seperation" as if an incident with an illegal alien is comparable to separating families of asylum seekers.

    There are a few new websites they are pushing as well, and I plan to go back over them to sift through the propaganda.

    Forgot to mention: This has to be the most disgusting and obvious propaganda I have ever seen. A true call out for simple minded who don't understand asylum seekers, how immigration is handled, and how illegal immigration is handled.

    I have 3 friends who were permanently separated from their families by illegal aliens. Send the kids to their home country to be placed with family members or the state.

    The families that are separated are ASYLUM SEEKERS. Those toddlers didn't kill your friends.

    Families that are separated are not asylum seekers, they are the ones that crossed the border illegally. Asylum seekers seek entry at legal ports of entry.

    How many of those kids are raped by cartels because their parents put them in that situation? Why are they giving their kids birth control and bringing them anyway? Let’s seal the border and stop the abuse on American soil.

    They aren't legitimate asylum seekers. They won't achieve asylum. They are illegal immigrants - gate crashers. A lot of us simply don't care that you want to continue a steady stream of future democarat voters. Most of the children are not here with their parents. That isn't the fault of the U.S.

    Hard to say. If the press views it as positive for conservatism you won't see it. If the press views it as a terrific opportunity to beat up on Trump, then it will be all over the news.

    Are you conflating unaccompanied minors with children separated from families? Much like Trump is conflating drunk driving with MS-13 and asylum seekers?

    No. I heard a statistic on TV that around 70% of the kids who are in the ICE system did not arrive with their parents. Some came alone. Some were rented by people who wanted cover by having them with them. Some were brought by human traffickers. Some were actually sent by parents with others who were making the trek to the U.S. That's hard to believe but that is what an ICE official. said. But, of course, none of that works with your talking points.

    172 million people live in mexico, they don't seem to feel the need to flee from rape and murder.

    If it is determined that a family is fleeing persecution or bodily injury they should be admitted and processed as refugees. If it is determined that they have snuck across the border to get a better life, fine, go to the back of the line - good luck and god bless. If it is determined they have gang membership or have criminal records, no problem, we've got lots of prisons.

    The operative word is determination. I think the deeper problem is we are doing all the sorting at our border when it should be done at the supply side - in Central America. Mexico is not a big problem because the job market there is good, thanks to U.S. corporations located there. Places like Guatemala are another story. Time to get tough with them with a carrot and stick approach. Sanctions until they get control of their corruption and crime, carrots in aid, etc. after.

    No, murder "incidents" committed by illegals are indeed not even remotely comparable to temporary separation of families of law breaking illegals ... lest we forget that it [family separation] was practiced by the Obama administration and it's been practiced by Canada.
