About time. This was not a prosecution but a persecution. We have the FBI emails talking about trying to get him to lie so they could get him removed. We had the FBI agents who did the interview and said in their notes he was not be deceptive in his answers. We have the fact that it was perfectly appropriate for him to be talking with foreign leaders and ambassadors, want to bet that the Biden team is talking to the same.

The Mueller investigation first bankrupted him, then threaten to go after his kids if he did not sign a confession..........what does that remind you of?

Then the DOJ after admitting that exculpatory evidence had been withheld and that there was no case informed the judge that they would not seek further prosecution and Flynn withdrew his plea. But this judge suddenely decided that judges should decide who should be prosecuted and in an unprecidented move tried to keep the trial going even picking his own lawyer to handle it. Outrageous.

So Trump did the right thing this needed to be ended and it is. And BTW this was the ONLY case brought trying to bring a Russian collusion case against Trump and his administration.

    "
President Donald Trump on Wednesday said that he had pardoned Michael Flynn, his first national security advisor, who pleaded guilty three years ago to lying to FBI agents.

The pardon came before a judge had ruled on a motion by the U.S. Justice Department to dismiss the case and to undo Flynn’s guilty plea for making false statements to agents about the nature of his conversations with Russia’s ambassador to the United States after Trump’s election in 2016.

“It is my Great Honor to announce that General Michael T. Flynn has been granted a Full Pardon. Congratulations to @GenFlynn and his wonderful family, I know you will now have a truly fantastic Thanksgiving!"

Happy Thanksgiving to the Flynn family, now were does he get all his legal expenses for which he had to mortgage his house to pay?

Im glad he’ll remain a convicted felon instead of the DOJ doing Trump a favor. I wonder what the pardon covers...

And you've been told 300 times the agents wrote in their notes he was not being deceptive and then the emails before the interview when they were discussing should they get him to lie, a perjury trap, so they could arrest him and force him to resign and nothing he said was material to anything.

It's a shame Flynn didn't just let this go years ago when he still had some money.
    Oh well. He's a big boy - I guess.

A full pardon wipes any conviction but when was he convicted?

No they didn’t. They said he didn’t act like he was lying, but they knew he was.

Does a presidential pardon remove a felony conviction?
No. Expungement is a judicial remedy that is rarely granted by the court and cannot be granted within the Department of Justice or by the President. Please also be aware that if you were to be granted a presidential pardon, the pardoned offense would not be removed from your criminal record.Sep 2, 2020

Search Office of the Pardon Attorney website - Department of ...

He pled guilty. He was only awaiting sentencing. :(

https://www.justice.gov/pardon/obama-pardons we could ask the same about any president that pardons people.

Including one that was a convicted felon for voter mail-in ballot fraud.

We never know what to believe...

    Now that's a good question.
I think they had a lot more on him than what he pled on.
I love to know the rest even if they never charged him with them.

Yeah, I want to read the "full" pardon as well. Probably overly broad to cover when he pardons his own family.

Little surprise here... it's going to be the 2 minute drill of pardons going forward...

You mean the ones the agents said he didn’t lie about and what crimes not charged?

I find it a little interesting that Trump couldn't hold his wad to see if Sullivan dismissed the case, so he wouldn't have to pardon Flynn...

I wonder if this corruption means Sullivan doesn't have to do anything else here?

    SNIP
Justice Department leaders would have preferred, however, for Flynn's case to have been resolved in court, where federal judge Emmet Sullivan still had not ruled on the government's request to abandon its prosecution.

DoJ leaders were "confident in the likelihood of our success in the case," the official said on Wednesday.

Seems to me Sullivan should come out and say I would have dismissed the case, but now Flynn will ALWAYS and FOREVER be known as a Felon...

    Happy Thanksgiving, Felon...

It also signals to me that the DOJ and Powell knew they were pushing schit up hill.
